a little while ago it was mentioned on this forum that tiny silver crimps could be used to bind the resistance and non resistance wire needed for the coil in the GG Odysseus Iatty and Penelope rebuildable atomisers ...so when Oneday kindly offered his bag or crimps i though i would give them a go the crimps in question are 1mm sterling silver tubes they can be picked up on ebay for a quid or so so firstly i cut my resistance wire to length adding 10mm to allow for the crimps and then threaded one to each end they are tiny ickle bliters and love to fly across the room so i decided to crimp them in place on to the wire at about 5mm in from the end with a simple squish with some needle nose pliers i then took a length of non resistance wire and twisted it around each side of the crimp making sure the wire was twisted nice and tightly i held a flame from a lighter under the crimp and allowed it to glow red and melt for a second or two... this created a really secure bond then gave the excess wire a little trim to make them nice and tidy proper job

This actually looks a lot more hassle than just twisting the wires Imeo would be able to retire on the funds of the ready wire market if he just made enough

I've had a go at this. Slightly different but works the same. I bent the ends over on both my wires and put them both in the bead (not the same direction) then you pull the wire and the 2 ends stop at the bead. Then put another bead on the resistance wire, bent it and did the same on the other end. I then melted them like Gordy has. Worked well but it's bleedin hard on the eyes trying to get those wires in the bead.
