Hello Nathan . . . . personally I'm not a fan of these self styled reviewer guru's who bang on because they like the sound of their own voice, going into raptures over an eliquid that I can't actually taste, that's me and I appreciate that not everyone might share my views!
What would tempt me far more into buying an eliquid is if a selection of regular forum members were to give their opinion and experience of it, not necessarily in video format, there are some of us who still enjoy communicating using the written word and appreciate reading a well composed piece, using our wonderful english language.
I was thinking along those lines but it turns out that all the banks have to do it.
as an aside, the conspiracy theory.
Remember years ago when the government wanted us all to have identity cards (like we were living in nazi germany) and everbody complained it was against your human rights amongst other things.
Seems some 25odd years later technology has opened the door for the E-identity card.
Pretty soon well all have to have a smart phone so the 'MAN' can get in contact with us when ever they desire.
Just a thought lol.
Interesting theory phtumshk, which I don't completely discount in all honesty! Even for something as seemingly innocuous as voting in an online competition for an animal charity I support - voters have to provide a mobile number for a verification code to be sent to enable them to vote.
Seems odd to me that a bank would require the ownership of a mobile phone, but whatever ...
Is there anything in their ownership rules that says it must be turned on?
* As one who has managed to avoid falling down the mobile rabbit hole ... and has a prepaid "something simple" in case of emergency - which has never been used as a phone. Makes a pretty good travelling alarm clock though
** No, sorry, I cannot give any useful advice about mobiles.
I think this is to do with new EU rules regarding online shopping.
If you use a card online you now have to input a a one time code every transaction, some banks send you the code via an app, others are sending the code by text.
I think this only applies to card transactions within the EU.
My bank went the app route but they also offered a fob which generates a code every time you push the button on it.
I just had them send me a fob.
This is supposed to be some fancy new security feature but to me it seems pretty pointless.
The fob they send isn't receiving signals or anything so these codes are obviously generated using a mathematical algorithm and scammers will crack the algorithm soon enough so they can generate the codes themselves.
This I see the logic of Get Off My Cloud . . . . my elderly mother went into a Care Home in February this year, the first week some swine scammed her bank card and used over £4,000 from her account buying goods at various online sites!
Long story short, I got the money restored to her account as I've LPOA over her financial affairs - her bank were very helpful, but this type of fraud must cost the various financial institutions millions.
( As an aside the thief was identified as a Care Home worker who lost their last job in November 18, for theft! So that doesn't say much for the Enhanced CRB check system either!! )
Other than that, sorry I've no useful information to give on a purchase monty, as I just toddle along to my local 3 store and say - sort me out with something that won't take an IT genius to use. They're also very helpful and get any new handset all set up ready for me to just use.
The juice is the Curiosities line from The Lab. The labels say 100ml 70/30 VG/PG. I put 3 18mg nic shot bottles in one of the bottles and it was more or less full, so I’m guessing that they are 120ml bottles.
I’ve got plenty of 72mg VG nic in the freezer so I can just use that, Not sure what to do with all these Nic Shot bottles though and was curious as to how many I would need to use to get the whole bottle to a 6mg strength.
Perpetua If I’m reading/understand your post correctly the answer is 5.4 bottles?
No, it's 3.3 Tony - that takes you to a strength of 5.94mg.
I'd hazard a guess going by what you've said that there's 70ml, in a 100ml bottle . . . . .
I have a few 100 ml short fill bottles and a bunch of 10ml 18 mg Nic Shots.
How many bottles of Nic Shots do I need to add to my short fill to make 6mg juice?
It'll depend on how much shortfill liquid there actually is in your 100ml bottle Tony, that does vary from range to range. I've done a couple of quick calculations using the Nic Combine tool on ejuiceme up . . . . assuming possible permutations.
Thanks everyone for your comments.... they all make sense!
Maybe no need to go fancy coil for my meager needs!
..... but they do look luvely!!
Which is probably why I haven't used any of my stash Dave!
But!! When you've an itch that needs scratching, just to satisfy that curiousity gene . . . . there'll be no harm in me sending you a few in the post. If nothing else you can admire their splendid wirey beauty if there's nothing on telly.
After many years of standard kanthal coils in a Ego One Mega tank I have recently swapped to the Plex 3d Mesh Coils on a Isub S tank and I've got to say it's amazing!
Only thing is they can't be re-wicked/coiled like I do with the Ego One tanks so the cost is considerably higher
Loving the Plex Mesh coils myself Des . . . . they do last a fair old time though, I guess I get around 90ml of eliquid through mine before they need changing, so that offsets some of the cost. And the time saved in recoiling can be used on something else.
