Copied from ECF Intellicig will be revealing results from a major research study in to the Intellicig NDD. The study looks at the actual levels of Nicotine absorbed in the blood whilst and post using the Intellicig compared with a traditional cigarette. Watch out here for the published report tomorrow. __________________ David Newns - Intellicig - Director Buy our UK manufactured E-Liquid (ECOpure) Linky www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/e-cigarette-news/105733-intellicig-will-reveal-results-major-research-project-tomorrow.htmlAnd if anyone fancies a trip to the thread that Rusty announced this on on UKVapers, Deewal's 'unbiased' comment just had me in tears!

And talking of Intellicig & funny things, this made me laugh a while back. David Newns, one of Intellicigs directors was caught out on the e-cig thread in Money saving experts forum. Originally Posted by davidnewns View Post Hello

Really if you have any doubt try one, I understand you can get a refund if you are not happy.

I reported twp threads and they were removed almost immediately - didn't see that the quote had slipped thru.
EDIT - Oh, I see that's from 2008. The threads I reported were a few days ago.

Not only is that unbelievably funny, it's unbelievably dumb !! (A little too dumb actually! ) The sad thing is that, to a very large degree, the future of Vaping rests in the hands of moronic vendors like this ......

Sorry Scylla, it was, as you say from way back - just glad the quote was still there. David Newns did a very similar thing when Intellicig first started posting on ECF but he talked to himself under 2 seperate ids - bit like Rauch/Ecosmoking did here.
Now Perfectionist, this is something I can agree on with you - things like this are a joke (& oh so very dumb) & an insult to peoples intelligence. However, there are some very good vendors out there that would never stoop so low.

That is really funny Chrissie. The report is now available. It was late last night when I read it, but the first thing that jumped out was the lack of methodology. They have blacked out the important figures, so as it stands it is not a replicable study and doesn't really show the true results of the test, although makes the statement that ecigs are great. Dave Dorn (SubVap/HiFiStud) also noted that if the nicotine levels are as high as a regular cigarette then it would make vaping fall into the same category as smoking, rather than NRT as the nicotine levels should be lower for NRT. Therefore, vaping is a recreational activity - something that Vapers Network and the petition have supported from the start.

Lol Jaki, now why aren't I surprised that it doesn't show the true results but makes the statement e-cigs are great

Another thing - if the e-cig has a similar effect on the body at similar times as a regular cigarette, why are they shown on different graphs? Those Cmax figures must be significantly different. And did they have participants chain vaping and chain smoking? They state "Cmax was reach at similar times [for both] with the average time taken to reach Cmax at 7 minutes". I am certain I used to smoke a cig in far less than 7 minutes. I do like a bit of nitpicking

I do like a bit of nitpicking So do I Jaki & with some of the stunts Intellicig have pulled, it kind of makes you want to nitpick even more.
