Sterling menthols
I mainly stocked up out of UK in bulk, as 90p per 20 opposed to £6 UK at the time!

Started off on Embassy No 1. Became a student and switched to Marlboro Lights (obviously). Became a poorer student and switched to Mayfair Lights. Became an even poorer graduate and switched to roll ups (Cutters Choice).

Smoked for forty three years so I went through a few brands,
Started down the bike sheds with No6 and No10, we even had a
friendly newsagent?? that would split packs for us when money
was tight "gawd they where only 10p for ten"
Embassy,
Regal,
B&H,
L&B,
Marlborough,
Then a twenty year love affair with Drum......

Blimey, I've got to go back to the mid 50's when I started smoking and they were Kensitas (I think that's the spelling) and they were what my Mum smoked, also Weights depending on how much pocket money I got. I also smoked A1 tobacco which is what my Dad smoked, then Embassy No. 1 for years and also B&H, Golden Virginia roll ups, numerous brands of cigars, John Player Special (black originals) - can't remember any more but I'm sure there are others I've missed!
