I am......... I love my vivi novas...when they work properly, but the quality of the heads is questionable and many I get aren't up to the job. I've tried rebuilding new heads with cotton wick (as I am a little bit worried about the glass fibre in the originals) but they rarely last more than a couple of hours, just not good enough for me. I've tried hard with the cotton, but I think I vape too heavily at times. I must admit, I can't find my fibre wick atm to try rewicked them, but I wanted to steer clear of it from now on anyway. So it seems I am stuck with trying to rewick a vivi with mesh, or buying a rebuildable atomiser. The vivi mesh looks a lot of hassle, so a rebuildable looks more attractive all the time. Yet which one do I choose? I seem to be overwhelmed with choice (ok not all are available most of the time ) Help on narrowing down my choices would be gratefully received.

you could always send me the vivi nova's I do find I get a burnt taste after a bit of vaping from them though - but it soon goes again if I vape through it - no idea re: rewicking - I just buy new heads (or will do when the ones I got with the kit run out)

If you don't want a tank rebuildable Womble, then Clockworks RDA is hard to beat for simplicity and performance . . . and if you want to get away from FG/Silica wick, then a genesis of some description is going to be your best bet.
The DID is possibly one of the most straightforward to obtain or Callum's to test the water as Skwoddy says.

That does look good, I must have missed that thread. I suppose cost must come into it, but at that price, it's fine

Have you tried Genisis style before Womble? I find mesh really hard work, every now and then a glimpse of how good it can be and I've been trying to persevere with it, because SS mesh/wick is the ultimate nirvana of vaping for most and on some forums it's a religion in itself, but I prefer the Penelope if I'm honest. In fact I love the Penny now that I've got the draw and coil building right, putting it together feels more arty and crafty. Dealing with mesh is a bit too much like boy stuff for me lol
Are you ok with silica wick? I don't know about recoiling novas, if you can use that in them?
There are an overwhelming number of rebuildables now and it looks like a large amount of clones of these rebuildables coming through. That one you have linked to skwoddy, a cobra copy?
I was lost too, but after the Penelope. I would feel confident with any GG stuff, I have not got an Odysseus, but I can tell that I would love it.
Sorry I've waffled a bit, I would recommend a GG atty if you wanted to spend that much

And, it comes ready meshed up with spare pre-oxidized wicks Womble . . . which is a great attraction for me.

And it can start very soon from some of the vivi heads. A couple of hours is not unusual.

I'm not quite sure what a genesis is tbh :-[ , but it seems to be a decent tank design from what I've read.

Like you Ellen, I loved wicking the penny, the did clone was a bit of a ballache compared but a few tries and im rocking now, you should try it if you do a penny, the mesh does change the flavour somewhat, plus you can buy pre oxidised meshes if that puts you off

Genesis is a generic term now, relating to the design of a mesh 1 wire and positive negative posts.

I was hoping it was going to be something more romantic and fanciful than that somehow Skwoddy.
