Not really expecting it while I was having an ecg in the cardiology dept. but the nurse asked me how I stopped smoking then started making notes. It felt good to pass some good news on about giving up and suggest products to look into etc. I was a little surprised that she new relatively little about this great thing.

What's the oddest place you've been asked about e-cigs?

I vaped in the back of an ambulance once when my husband was taken to hospital, the accident and emergency was full and we had to wait in the ambulance a few hrs, I was going out for a vape, the ambulance driver asked why I was leaving, my husband said why, they were full of wanting to know and let me vape in there

I had to go and have cameras (scopes) put into various places the other week and I took my e-cig in with me, they gave me sedation which was supposed to make me sleepy, it didnt and the doctors asked about my e-cig, ill bet they wished they hadnt as I told um all about it throughout the lengthy procedures, there was no shutting me up lol..........think the sedation had the opposite effect on me lolol.....Ill bet they were glad to see the back of me

For me it was a year or so ago when travelling on a train from Plymouth. I was sat there vaping on my GGTS when a train guard walked past. He did a double take, then ended up trying out my GGTS & Riva as he was a smoker & had tried & failed to give up smoking with NRT.

Sandra that is a great image of you sitting in the back of an ambulance love it. Mary, I have to admit as it was the first stranger who has taken an interest I may have babbled on a bit too much me self. Raffles..... er.... what did I come in here for? ah yes Chrissie, I miss Plymouth well more the people and the area, the moors and Cornwall's beaches, I lived down there for about six years. I haven't been brave enough to vape on a train yet I'll get there bit by bit.

I'm too much of a stealth vaper for people to ask me about it. I'm stealthy enough to stealth vape with vg and a lavatube with a CE2 on it. Now that's stealth!

well, i was having a smear. legs up in the stirrups, and i'm there vaping away on my lavatube, and the nurse is rummaging around up there and she asks me, she says, 'so where's d'ya buy that marvelous lookng thing, pumpkin?' and i give her the web address for vape escape, but she doesn't have a pen so she writes it down on a paper napkin using a bit of lube with her finger.

nah, didn't really happen.

but while on holiday in turkey i did write down the vape escape website and the riva delux kit link for a lady who told me she used to work in ashworth hospital and she looked after ian brady for years, and said he was quiet and sinister.

I was preaching at the haridressers yesterday, funny thing is half the blooming place came and gathered round the Provari/Penelope expecting a tiny whiff of vape to come out and all fell backwards when I exhaled a cloud Jason's cards got handed out to about 5 people

I think the references to crack pipes by the non vaping random public are so stupid. Most crackheads wouldn't actually pipe crack in busy places in broad daylight. It's ok for a laugh I guess, but seriously?

Cant really add a strange place,as I can vape at work and I can vape at my snooker club,although I never asked just went ahead and it was accepted,one story though while at the snooker club,I was leaning up against the bar with various members asking me about my LT,explained variable voltage,turned it up,blew out a bigger coud of vapour and everyone commented on the smell being nice except the one smoker there who started coughing and commenting oh my god that's horrible...it stinks....I laughed and thought can you imagine blowing your cigarette smoke and everyone having a sniff,then I said "smoker in denial are we" to which he shuffled off still complaining how horrible it was
