Hi I got this Boge Revolution V2 juice box and can't for the life of me get it going!
It's got a pass thru, but as the batt was totally flat on arrival! I thought maybe even connected it still may need some initial charge. Fully charged now and still no joy.....
Since buying it I have heard some negatives, so think I'll have to send back!
The unit lights up okay, so power is getting through. I've filled the internal juice bottle, I've "condomed" and primed a new boges carto they sent which has an air good air flow - so I know thats not a dud!
Everything is absolutely connected correctly but no firing up???
As well as the fact nothing happens when I press and suck, the design is so poor! The carto is a bad thread, barely connects and it apparantly only works with Boges although the other 510s fit better! And also the casing pulls apart and is coming apart already with all the setting up! (not good) ie not well constructed or sturdy at all! It was really cheap, but no good if it doesn't work!
Wondered if anyone else has got one of these and knows where I'm coming from. Until now I've been a simple Ego girl and very happy, just wanted something different and a bit bigger!
And yes from a UK vender, not China, although no doubt where he got it from. Advice please before I complain, in case it's anything I'm doing!
Have pulled pins, tried various cartos and tested cartos on other devices, so really stumped!

If its already fallen apart, a connection may have broken. Also hate to say this but is it switched on?

It's not exactly fallen apart, I can click the casing back together. It's at the opposite end to the carto anyway! Yes it's on okay. all 3 leds light up, so powered fine, just no hiss, gurgle, vapour - nothing! It has to be in the carto fit right?
I won't mention the vender as I know he'll swap it, I just need to know if I'm doing something wrong! I guess at the price I paid I shouldn't expect much but I expect it to fire up!

have you pulled the connector pin on both device and carto and also verified the cartos work on another device?

I've just watched Scott's review on the Revolution V2 and he had to use a pencil to push the center pin out a little for it to work on any cartos that don't come with the kit.

I watched that before I bought. The cartos that come with the kit are apparantly the only ones that will work and even they don't, this is really bugging me! Jules

content.spinfuel.com/2012/08/boge-revolution-v2-the-review-that-almost-wasnt/Just found this dire review! it seems they are known to fall apart and needle snapping etc etc . . .and yes the needle has now snapped because you can't see right into the top of the unit to see the exact pin point in the carto with the bottle in the way (bottom filler, very stupid design) you have to be spot on to get to a fraction of a mm to fit the carto without seeing in there! (if you get me) it's being very careful precise and very hit and miss! I believe it wouldn't fire before the needle snapped due to the thread probably (needle's not totally broken just bent) maybe it was not a functioning needle in the first place. If it was damaged and didn't draw that could've been the problem all along, not the cart thread! I am so peed off, this was my first step up from egos and I didn't expect much but exected it to work! Terrible terrible design. Anyone else got one? I'm sure everyone's needles must bend or snap because you're inserting a 10ml bottle into unknown territory 5 inches into the case, so how the hell can you see where the needle fits! Grrrrr, this was all I could afford as a step up, so now it's back to the good old reliable (almost) Ego I guess! You live and learn, Jules

Feeder needle inside broke before I even tried to test it! Vender refunding and taking all Boge Revolution V2s off site! Jules
