Sorry for being a nub but I need dripping help

Really sorry if I sound like a Belson but I'm struggling with dripping

I bought my Lavatube kit yesterday which I love and it came with an Atty for driping (amongst loads of other bits of kit and toys.)

None of my drip tips fit it (well ok the one I have doesn't, the Nova drip tips probably shouldn't count )

Is this actually the right bit of kit for dripping?
(Utter noob question!)


My first attempt at dripping was erm... less than successful :-[
OK may not have helped vaping from the atty with no drip tip but I put my liquid in the top section... not sure any drained through, it was a quite a thick Egg custard juice (lots of VG) and when I tried vaping it.....

Mmmmmm.... vaping Atties lol

So what am I doing wrong... ok there's probably quite a list hehe
But is it the juice is too thick to go through the teeny weeny ickle hole into the atty?
Is it not having a drip tip?

Or am I just a total plonker and using the wrong bit of kit?

Remove the black cartridge just use the metal part. Drip 4 or 5 drops of liquid straight down into the bottom. Put on a drip tip if you have one and Vape.

Remove the black plastic as DES said, I have made the same mistake as well.

The black plastic cartridge that is attached to many atomisers... is there just to fool and confuse the uninitiated of the black art of dripping

As Des says remove, (by pulling) and discard, you may even find that one of your drip tips fits the atty.

What's that plastic bit for anyway?

I can see it as a great way to test new juices without tainting or using loads in a clearo or Nova.
Not sure I could vape it all day though, there's a hell of a lot of TH from it which for me masks the flavour a bit, great vapour production though!

maybe I should keep at it and just try to get used to TH, a lot of people seem to like it and maybe I need to get used to TH and stop trying to find more airy vapes.

Your nova drip tip should fit on that atty. That cartridge is what we used to use before dripping and tanks evolved. You can put fluval or blue foam in the cart, fill it then use that to vape on. How times change

Another simpleton question.

How many drips do you generally put down the drip tip?

Throat... is falling apart at the moment...
Not just from the dripping tbh - went out for my birthday last night and had to shout over music all night


Actually the TH is starting to ease now, taste is good and great vapour still.
Vapour is possibly a bit warm for me at 3.7+v but at lower voltages it's quite nice.

3 or 4 from a standard bottle, anymore and you'll flood it.

Another tip. If you like that atty for testing flavours, invest in a 306. They're a lot cheaper and easier to clean.

If you go for the 306 attie as suggested by Blue, you will need to buy a 306 drip tip as the 510 drip tips don't fir the 306 attie.

Dripping does feel a bit more manly than using a clearo or tank, it's kind of like "Not man enough, I need to vape direct from the Atomiser!"
