A 'no flavour' mix?

Has anyone tried vaping PG/nic (24mg) without any flavouring?

I know that the result will probably be bland, but I'm just after a nic-delivery method that will prevent me from going back to NRT (which was only partially successful, and was very expensive).

I have enjoyed experimenting with various flavours, but my wife complains about the smell, so at the moment I'm between a rock and a hard place.

There is no flavour that you've vaped that your wife doesn't mind?

My house smells lovely after a few vapes of Swedish Fish or Caramel Cappuchino!

I vape 'flavourless' more than anything, i wouldn't say it's bland because you still get throat hit,i guess it's like smoking the same cigs,year in year out.As long as your getting the nic that's all that counts. And when your out and about the flavours you do vape will be scrummy ;-)

I haven't tried flavourless, I can't imagine missing out on all the great flavours available! Maybe a mint would be a compromise? Minty fresh

A member (vendor) has kindly offered to send me a 'no-flav' sample to try. He says he already supplies it to one of his customers with the same problem, and may add it in future to his juices if there is a demand.

This would also be really easy to make yourself if you wanted to, and with PG you wouldn't even need to add water so it'd just be two ingredients

I've had a go with just 36mg PG nic base and I quite liked it! Of course you can always dilute with PG or VG if you want a lower nic content. I agree with ckc, after all fags don't taste of much!

Yes, I agree, and is something I intended to do if the no-flav trial is successful. I will report back on my findings - juice should arrive tomorrow.

Juice arrived yesterday. Have vaped 2x1.6ml clearos so far and am very pleased with result. The mix is 60%PG/40%VG @ 2.4%nic, 0%flavour.

The vape is slightly sweet, and taste is far from being 'bland'. Could vape happily all day on this without worrying about producing an odour.

Am now going to get ingredients to experiment with PG/VG ratio and %nic. With a bit of luck I should get the cost of juice down to less than £10/month (I am not a light vaper, as I used to smoke 50-60/day).

I still have a collection of flavoured juices for high-days and holidays, vaping outdoors.

If anyone wants to give it a try, buy a 10ml bottle from Stew at Juice Kitchen. Stew has only just opened his online store and is looking to expand his range of juices. He does not show a 'no-flav' on his site yet, but if you contact him he will mix you one to your specification. You could PM him of course - his forum name is 'Juice Kitchen'.
