yes they work, i use them in a vamo. I used the grey panny's before that and these aren't noticeably bigger. With the pricing being so low on fasttech I worry that these could be the Chinese ones that have always been a lower price, so i've not bought them from fasttech myself yet, i know some other suppliers that sell the Chinese ones at low prices too. I suppose a quick email to fasttech and you could find out I just haven't got around to doing that yet.

I havent seen that anywhere else on the web, as far as I know all Pannies are made in Japan, I havent bought that particular one from Fastteck but I have bought the grey ones and they are A1, and the same kind of value rating as these seem to be.

Yeah as far as I know there's Panny's made in China too which are supposedly lesser quality and usually cheaper, also there's info out there that the Panny's made in Japan after a certain date wont be of the same either, I am not sure of that date though. ( I have read the info but slept since )

I cant say as I have seen any tests of Panasonic batteries anywhere where they dont live up to stated capacity, they are always there or therabouts and I have done a lot of searching on battery tests, Panasonic seems to be one of the few where you know before you look at the figures that they stand up to scrutiny, but I could be wrong, may have missed it somewhere MevOne thing I did notice was that these have a minimum voltage of 2.5V and mah figures relate to that. We dont go down that far, at the voltage that we would be cutting off at, the mah is closer to 3000mah, but still a great price and nothing but top ratings from their customers, including a number of ecig users.
