Good morning Blownupdolly, (Just! I slept in cause I was playing Mahjong on my new PC until 3am) The Lemon helped a wee bit, but not a lot. Also sleeping position seems to make a difference, ie if I waken and I have been lying on my back then my mouth is a lot drier. But I did try a mouthwash last thing before bed and that may have helped a bit too. The Biotene Moisturising Mouthwash is something that I have sent away for as was recommended by other Vapers. I am Type 2 Diabetic. Vaping is indeed a strange hobby that leads me down many weird and wonderful roads!!!! One evening I am buying "Jack the Ripple" and the next evening I am buying Mouthwash!

lobey, I am also on a CPAP, have been for around 7 years. Drying out is also a natural side-effect of using a CPAP - have you not mentioned this at your sleep clinic? They should have given you a model with a hydrating reservoir humidifier on it to help with this. HTH. Oh, and if you have one already, turn the steam up

Oh, and if you have one already, turn the steam up Hi Gunjack, Although I have been suffering this dry mouth lark for some time, I have only recently tried to find out why it is happening and what I can do about it. I have been on the CPAP for 5 years now. I would prefer not to go down the humidifier route. We go away in our Folding Camper a lot during the summer months and campsite electrics are notorious for failing when you least expect it. So I have a battery back up system for my CPAP machine that will keep it going for 3 nights. However that will work for only a couple of hours if I had to use a Humidifier as well. The thing is, this dry mouth bit has only been an issue since I started vaping, so it is either vaping related, or it is to do with something I am now doing that I was not doing before I started vaping. So I either find out the cause or I find a solution. But thanks for mentioning the Humidifier. It was something that I was thinking about last night but ruled it out because of the FC and our holidays.

Probably an accumulation lobey. The CPAP may have been drying you out but still at a comfortable level but adding to that vaping and it dehydrating you a little it as become what it is now. Not a medical view just my own view.

Not a medical view just my own view. Yes Mev, I tend to agree. It's the old "final straw" bit and it is only now that it has become really bad, that I have got off me bum and gone looking for answers. There are a lot of people on here that have similar problems, perhaps not as bad, but they have enough information that they have given me a number of leads to try.
