hi i have a ego 950 battery all of a sudden i cant get a cleomizer on it as im screwing it on it dont tighten it just keeps spinning round,also i have a 1100 battery all works fine it was lasting me 1 n half days now it is not lasting very long ive only had it a week .

ok, first batt, sounds like the 510 threads have stripped..try some gentle downward pressure on the clearo turning it anticlockwise on the battery - do you get a slight ckick as the threads go backwards past the point of engagement? if so, turn the clearo another full turn anticlockwise until just past that point then with the same gentle downwards pressure turn it clockwise and see if the threads engage and then tighten. If no joy, look for raid2506 and see if he can help with a repair Alternatively, use an evod-type clearo which attaches by the ego threads (larger ones closer to the fire button).

Second battery, can you return it for exchange/refund if it's only a week old?

Where did you get your batteries from? If it's a genuine vendor you should be OK for getting sorted, however if you went the route of so many and got them off EBay i'm afraid you might be screwed.
If it was off ebay, contact the seller, if no joy off them open a ticket with Paypal (assuming you used them) if the purchase was within the last 45 days.
Just a tip, on your ticket just quote "electronics" not e.cig as they can be funny about them.

Hi samyd1981, if you want to send me the 950 I should be able to put a replacement head on there for you, it'll only cost you postage.

The 1100 if genuine should ideally be returned to the vendor if faulty.
There are a batch of battery cases out there (on eBay) marked as eGo CE4 which have been sold as 1100 but only contain a 650 battery inside. I have repaired two this month, both with faulty circuit boards.

PM me if you want a fix on the 950. If you want me to test the 1100 at the same time I'm happy to do that.

hi thanks so much for your replies i bought the 1100 of a market stall called premiere cigs they do have a website and he did say any problems i can take it back,the one with the broken threads i got off a different market stall who seems to have vanished i also brought my first ecig off this stall which im now having problems with it was working fine yesterday now it has the red light stuck on when i put a clero on it it just flashes 3 times and goes off when i take the clero off it has just got a red light that stays on

Just had a look at the site, net too sure I would use it myself.. no phone or e-mail contact details. ( might just be an oversight, but still wary)
You say the red light stays on? I don't know the particular batt, but could this be an indicater that it needs charging ( I assume you have tried to charge it)

Sounds like you have found out the hard way about sourcing from a reliable seller. hopefully raid2506 will get you sorted.
