As well as working as worldwide safety director for GSK – the manufacturers of Seroxat – from 1999 until 2001, Dr Hudson acted as witness for the defence in a trial in which Seroxat was accused of triggering a man’s violent and suicidal behaviour."

Earlier this year (2003), a UK review into Seroxat was disbanded after it emerged many of the members held interests in GSK.
