how long should a rebuild last

i have been rebuilding my protank heads now about 2months ,i use kanthal A1.20 with 2.5mm silica wick with 1_ 2mm wick on top,unlike the kanger heads that i have used in the passed you might get at least ten days from a kanger head, but now that i am rebuilding them myself i find that i get at least 3 good days of vaping ,i put 4 wraps around the wick which i find does the job, have made some 5and 6 wraps but you dont seem to get the hot vape so i stick with 4 wraps, my question should they last longer or is this way it is with rebuilding your own. have used 0.25 once couldnt get it to fire up at all thats the reason i use .20

It depends.

On the wattage, the juice, the flavours you vape, and so on. When vaping my home made VC I have to change the wick every time I fill the tank.
