Nice find alansiJust tested it and it's very close with the results. I done a test on 0.25 Kanthal A1 with 8 turns on a 2mm bit (microcoil) and it came pretty close to what my resistance tells me.

Yeah its pretty close ..... I did 11 wraps of 28 AWG (.32mm) round a 2mm drill bit with A1 Kanthal last night
Came out at 1.56
This says it would be 1.66
But my legs on the coil were going horizontal so it was not 11 full turns . . . Bloody close
Best bit of Vaping software since EJuice Me Up I think

Nice find alansi. Just put numbers in for what I normally do and pretty close.....though I use my MVP as ohm meter so may be not measuring quite right. Good to know what I need to do ball park for desired ohms. EDIT: p.s. it works under wine in linux too in case anyone is wondering, well ain't crashed yet anyhow!

One question... whats the 'heating coefficient' ? Speed the wire heats up?

Great software, downloaded it last night and will try it out as soon as my wire arrives. It shows exactly what I get when using .35 Kanthal around my 2.5mm screwdriver shank, so looking forward to trying the M3 screws I bought today for an 8-wrap microcoil!

@johanino Open up the program and at the bottom you should see some flags, click on the union jack and it will change it to English
Hope it helps
