enjay just a single coil on a Kanger Aerotank....i have been through many of atties and there is not a very big difference, there is some but not massive. EDIT: A lot of it also boils down to juice, some hit hard some don't even though they have the same strength and ratio.

I mean difference as in how it vapes, flavour, heat and throat hit. I use the same 40/60 juice in all of them and find it can vary a fair bit from atty to atty. And yeh flavour too can make a difference, no doubt on that one.

Is there a pattern emerging? Smaller the ID, wire gauge, cotton thickness the better the throat hit, vapour and flavour.
I'm presuming 10 is best, 0 is worst.

Personally I find a 1.2-1.4 ohm micro coil from .3 kanthal round a 2mm bit hits better and tastes better with the juice that I vape .25 kanthal just doesn't seem to perform the same. Standard coils for me always work best with .2 kanthal You need to experiment for yourself and see what works for you

Also found less cotton = less chance of a gurgle happening over time and that i can vape the Aerotank almost bone dry, with using a little more cotton i got some gurgling when approaching a empty tank.

Also this was based on a Aerotank and could be completely different on something else. I just like experimenting because i too am a Tart and proud of it

Yep, of course I was referring to your particular test, not making a generalisation.
My preference is for 0.28mm at 1.4-1.5ohm with an id of 1.5mm.

Updated the guide as it was all fooked, it seems the test i done 0.25 on was fine, but the test for 0.3 was way out....the problem lied with the AW battery that was in my other Provari that i used to test 0.3 was well and truly fooked, fully charged battery going flat in about 30mins and charging back to full in 10mins, it was also throwing the heat of the coil all over the place so the end results was wrong.
So now it's fully updated with a working battery this time and also added 0.27

Still a pattern for your experiment though Super-Shiny Irrespective of wire gauge and resistance, the smaller the ID and cotton thickness the better the throat hit, vapour and flavour. Is that a coincidence?
