Proverbial 'nail on the head' methinks. At least it'll be worth a try. It might surprise you

sleedale You should also consider that now you are able to set a constant voltage, the power that you are using may be working out higher than what the ego was able to deliver. Resulting in it running out faster.

It might surprise you. My first was an iTaste EP and I noticed the battery state change after maybe 2 hrs, somewhere around 60%. But for some reason the rest of the charge lasted another 6 hrs.

Mine last ages, one thing i have noticed though, now this maybe the charger is that when i put it on charge it charges like normal and takes around the right time and then the charger light turns from red too green telling me it's fully charged. But If i take it off the charger and put it back on the light turns back to red again and charges for another 1hr. Same thing happens to me for some reason, I charge my Spinner on my Kangertech Evod charger as it's the only one I have, plug it in to charge, get the red light (signifying it's charging) and within 20 minutes it's blue (signifying full charge). So I take it off and put it back on and then the full charge cycle starts which takes roughly around 3 hours. Weird one that! sleedale One other thing I do now is turn the VV dial to the 4.8v setting before charging, when I was doing a bit of research on the Spinner I saw this suggested in another forum where other people were having similar troubles, although it still hasn't solved the initial charging woe it does seem to be lasting slightly longer. And yes IMO (and as already suggested) the dual coil will deffo be using more power than a single coil.

Well, several days and charges later and I've tried all the above, patiently. Charged, turned off and back on until the red light turned green again. Full discharge, full charge, which takes absolutely forever. Several times. So, after charging it for most of yesterday, roughly 6/7 hours started using it this morning. White light on button lasted roughly 1.5 hours; blue switch 2 hours now on orange switch light. It's bigger, heavier and a lovely shade of purple. But it takes much longer to charge than my old ego and doesn't seem to last any longer, using the same range of clearos, and setting vv around 3.3-3.8 Is there anything out there, that doesn't weigh tons, is easy to use and lasts for more than 3/4 day? Oh and charges quickly (I know......more power = more charge time but I can hope can't i?) Aaaaaand.......I even bought some snake oil cos peeps rave about it ......al I can taste is slightly over cooked not nice pastry does it get better with keeping? If not I've got 10ml minus a bit going spare Ah well, away for a couple of days early next week, visiting aged parent, so I'll take all my kit and avoid the stinkies. Hopefully, although I can't 'nip out for a vape' like I used to for a cig to get 5 mins peace

I was searching for spinner problems and found my original thread! So.......I've sorted out how to charge the thing, and it lasts as long as it should, but yesterday my mvp needed charging, the vtr is dead, so I swapped to the spinner to find the switch is now doing silly things! It was fine, haven't dropped it or anything, but the switch is now not 'clicking' and sticks a bit. It still works, but I'm not sure whether it's safe to use or if I can do anything to revive it? If I press the top bit of the switch, it tends to stick, if I press the bottom bit of the switch it's better but not the positive click it used to be. I know vape gear tends to go wrong all at once, but with the vtr dying and an istick on order from evkoo, I don't really want to buy anything else just now. Can I fix it? Thank you peeps

Must confess . . . I'd probably have sent it back/contacted the Vendor when it first didn't meet your expectations sleedale. It might not be too late to try now you've problems with the button? I'm using a Spinner, purely for work admittedly, but it's been in almost daily use for almost 2 years now and still shows no sign of giving up. It probably will now.
