Fatty v3 short problem, any tips?

Hi all, bought a fatty v3 clone months ago from fasttech but never bothered to setup until tonight as looked a faff.

Wasn't as bad as I thought, dismantled and put back together to check was clean then put a 0.5 single micro coil in.

Put on mech and fired, rda immediately heated up in split second, too hot to hold.
Didn't get why it should short at first, checked mod and looked ok.
Put rda back on ohms tester and came out at 0.01 ohms!

Not the coil causing it, I think one of the screws is shorting across the negative/positive bits inside, any ideas anyone that's had one? I can see where the screw touches the other plate if flexes but can't see what to do about it!

Figured out, wasn't shorting where I thought, I'd put the wrong post in the insulated post hole! If you've seen one you'll understand, if not you'll be none the wiser....watch some youtube videos, which is what I should of done in the reassembly instead of winging it.

Still don't get how it managed to be 0.5 at first, then 0.01 after.
Dunno how you vape so low, I find the vape to hot.

Dunno how you vape so low, I find the vape to hot.

Super smooth bud and not to hot at all, it's just getting the balance right I find and also not all juices suit it, some are just harsh down low.

Super smooth bud and not to hot at all, it's just getting the balance right I find and also not all juices suit it, some are just harsh down low.

Joosejuice toffee you vape low ain't it? Do you mix your own or just buy it premade?

Yeh, I was buying but now making my own, use less flavour and nic and more VG

What sort of percentage are you mixing it at for flavour and vg? Think I'll get some, off the menthol and getting a sweeter tooth with vape I think.

Around about 20%, maybe even a bit less for flavour and around 90% for the VG

Erm...that doesn't add up? Did you mean 80% for vg and no nic?

 No 20% or less for flavour, 90% VG and the nic I figured you would figure out yourself lol. I use 12mg but I use 24mg in the tank, I can use 24 in the rda too but I like to be able to chain vape if I want without any weird side effects lol

Reckon I'll do 20% flavour and work from do couple of variations in nic/vg for drippers and tanks.
