Especially ronaldo, thank you in advance. i probably know the answer, but......one of sons ego t batteries seems to be loose at the too. The silver bit the tank screws on to wobbles and can be slightly lifted. I assume it's not safe anymore? So my next question will be.....do you want it for your spares box? It does still charge and work with a tank, turns on and off etc. thank you Sue

PM sent but to answer your question yes when the top comes loose on a ego battery the live wire the one that goes to the firing pin can easily track out against the side of the ego so this makes it fire to earth and can get very warm and uncomfortable and dangerous so really on safety grounds they should not be used when they come loose thanks for asking this question as I think a lot of people may of carried on using one like this and we need to get the safety message across
