protank 3 leaking

I have had an ongoing problem with my protank 3 leaking. It's always left upright I have changed the coil and there's still a slight leak!! Hubby has got himself a protank 3 and there's no problem with his so I'm confused about what is wrong with mine.
Any ideas guys???

I'd suggest closely comparing your leading protank to your husband non leaky one, sounds like you might have a missing rubber 'O' ring?

that or maybe over tightening could warp rubber seal and let juice through?

You didn't say where the leak is coming from but I suspect a missing o-ring too winnietyson
If there's no missing o-ring and the leak is coming from the base somewhere then i'd suggest buying a v2 airflow controller from Myepack (when they get new stock) or maybe the even newer style Kanger Airflow controller from Redjuice (discount code AAEC10 on Redjuice)

To answer the question the leak seems to be coming from the base (ie the part screwed into the battery) the tank also gurgles and occasionally spits warm juice into my mouth too!!
Haven't had a chance to compare my tank to the hubby's tank yet as his still has juice in it!!

Then i'd opt for a v2 AFC then winnietyson they are a huge improvement over the v1 AFC and are pretty much leak free. I use them on my Protank 2s and Aerotanks!

Thanks to everyone who has replied! Hubby has realised that I had a) used the wrong coil and b) a seal wasn't in the correct place!! Hopefully I'm sorted out now but we will see!!

too winnietyson , glad you found the problem.
And to answer your earlier question - No, you won't need the seals as well as the AFC, the v2 AFC just replaces the Protank 3 AFC (v1). The seals I linked to are the ones that sit above and below the glass tank to stop the juice leaking out.

lairey I bloody hope so coz hubby has less patients than a small child!! Being a man he would much rather go back to the stinkies coz he thinks that they're much less hassle!! He doesn't seem to realise that by doing that he would lose me!!
