I have been umming and ahhing fo a while now should I buy another aspire nautilus mini. I have tried some other clearos (iclear 30s, mini vivi nova) but really can’t get on with them. I am happy with my evods and protank minis on my vision spinners but was looking for something bigger to go on my 2nd istick.
Today I went in to a b&m shop that I have been in a few times before, knowing if they sold the aspire it would be top dollar but what the hell.
Anyway they sold them, £25, about what I expected. Got it home filled it up held it up next to my first one and it is a slightly different size. I have just done the scratch and check and it is a fake.
I am fuming, £25 for a fake. I am going to empty it out but it will be a week before I am back that way to take it back. He will be gatting a piece of my mind.

Email trading standards straight away, selling counterfeit goods is a crime.

I'd also ring the store and explain to them.

I'd also ring the store and explain to them. This... I'd always call the store first and give them chance to put things right.

Email trading standards straight away, selling counterfeit goods is a crime. We all buy counterfeit goods...... They're called clones !! A lot of B&M shops do the same as us, they buy from fast tech or similar, they may not even realise that it's a clone , If you're not happy then return it for a refund and inform them of their mistake, some clones are as good as genuine products but I wouldn't expect to pay the same for them

Gotta check if it was being sold as an "aspire nautilus" and not just a "nautilus style tank" And as for ordering off fasttech, I was on a vendors site yesterday who was openly advertising that this specific product was from fasttech at least they were honest and up front though...

Thanks all, I asked if he sold the aspire nautilus mini (as he had one on his mvp 2 on the counter) and this is what he gave me. It has an aspire nautilus mini box with the scratch and check strip on it. If it was being sold as a clone I would have got it out of the box to check the quality and made an informed decision but I certainly wouldn’t pay full price for a clone. I am hoping to pop back in to town to take it back and get a refund. Meanwhile I have ordered a genuine one from myepack, along with a protank 2 icon_shoppingm I was trying to buy from a shop to avoid having all these packages arriving and the OH asking what I am buying now

At £25 for a clone, and people moan about not supporting local B&B's... Is it any wonder Dont get me wrong, some are fantastic! But some are just out to fleece people for all they can. Would definitely ring up and make your concerns known! Paying full whack for an authentic is bad enough but paying full whack for a clone is just Damn right greedy Hope you get it resolved

Paying full whack for an authentic is bad enough but paying full whack for a clone is just Damn right greedy Hope you get it resolved This is way I rarely buy from b&m's. My local is a crystal clear. Last year they had two lads running the shop who were very into vaping and knew their stuff. So the prices reflected that knowledge. They have since been replaced by an older man. I went in last week because I was mod-less. He wanted £70 for a Smoktech SID. £100 for a VTR or an SVD and £60 for a v2 chrome vamo. £40 for a nautilus. And £15 for smaller aspire nova types. I actually laughed. They also sell 30ml rebadged hangsen for £10. Erm, no thanks. Don't get me wrong. It's handy to have a shop two mins away in a juice emergency and I know there's overheads for a shop that an online vendor doesn't have but in not paying triple the price I'd pay online.

The decent shops actually ran by people who are involved with the vaping community know what customers want and the correct pricing. The other shops are the ones ran by someone who has never smoked, let alone vaped and knows nothing! Selling blister pack ego batteries for £30 and Chinese juice at £6/7 per 10ml. Place not too far for me does £6 per 10ml bottle or 30ml for £15 I get 300ml for £21 delivered in any pg/vg ratio I want. Wouldn't mind having a Greyhaze store local to me! Think my bank balance would take a beating though

This lad is a vaper Marcus he obviously needs to up the prices for a bit to pay for the lovely red dna30 (I think) that he has just bought, it looked really nice in red, he paid £120 for it, god knows what it would sell for in his shop. He also needs all the money he can to pay for the juice he only buys from the US and keeps getting stung for customs charges! That’s why I won’t buy juice from him, if he won’t vape it himself!

So he's basically a wannabe "elitist" who can only afford it by overcharging and ripping people off with clones I would give him a chance to take it back and refund you but if you have any problems then name and shame I always like to know where to avoid! The vape market is saturated with vendors so you really need to be upping your game and lowering your prices to succeed

You say it came in the original box, perhaps he has been scammed too, also there is the flip side , but I would give him the benefit of the doubt

I will do sammy13 I will take a trip out there possibly tomorrow, and see what he says. Really disappointed more than anything, if I knew it was a clone I wouldn’t have paid full price. Serves me right for trying to buy vape gear without parcels arriving at the house
