OK, so I ran down the battery on the iStick until it displayed lock and started charging it. It draws 1.00A on a 2.1A usb charger and exactly the same on a 1A usb charger. This is at the start of the charge cycle* where current draw will be the greatest. You can also use a smaller charger e.g a 0.5A laptop port, but it will take longer to charge. So, I'm happy to use my 2.1A charger but a 1A charger will be fine. * there's a nice graph that shows how the current drops during the charge cycle here batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/charging_lithium_ion_batteries

Nice one peterd I think, as you have found, that as long as the USB adapter is of good quality and marked with the appropriate conformity marking the output is irrelevant.

Thanks @scooby
It also looks like the internal regulation is very good on these devices, for the iStick exactly 1.00A and the MVP2 exactly 0.90A. Gives you a bit of confidence in them.

Just ordered one. Taking a ego to work for daytime vapes just wasn't serrating the moutard, and didn't really want to vape on my lunchtime Kanger Turbo in front of the smokers (the number who might be interested enough to try vaping would be outweighed by those laughing at the sonic screwdriver), so harro istick! Also bought an Aerotank Mini to pop on top of it.

haha I saw this on myepack last night...read all the bullet points and thought wow it sounds perfect, checked out the price and HOLY SWEARWORDS BATMAN I have to get me one of these. Needed a new battery anyway after leaving my evod twist in a taxi and stepping on my spinner 2. came on here to see if anyone had anything to say about it and turns out the whole world has one (or four) already.

mine arrived this morning.
it's brilliant, even at 3.5v it's throwing out flavour harder than my old spinner and twist. looks great pared with the PT2 as well, they're perfectly balanced although not sure how it would look with one of the bigger attys on top - it's sooo tiny.
got a really nice quality feel to it as well, the materials are, in the main part, excellent. the only minor downside so far is the buttons - they feel a little plasticy and rattle a bit if you shake the mod. also, and this is meaningless really to me as I have plenty of wall plugs that work already, mine shipped with a US wall plug. the micro USB cable itself, however, seems decent enough and has a good length.

I have the same problem Chysenka had. I fully charge it via the usb and wallcharger( replacement one from Myepack) but it is locking and will not charge my evod, I have put it back on charge but it should not be necessary as I charged it fully this morning and have hardly used it. What is going on.? I vape @ 7w with a 1.8 coil, has worked perfectly well previously at this setting. Is it me or is it istick?
