Hi Kath, yes, I think we have already shook hands some where on the board...x I actually make a point of reading all your posts as they are so honest - and amusing! And informative for a newbie vapourer - your trials and tribulations with your vaping have me on the edge of my chair! And when you get it 'right' I find myself cheering for you! Mad as a hatter? Barmy more like!

Kath, the oil is a primer & some new atties have more of it in them than others.
Lettie, don't worry if Lisa doesn't get straight back to you. I'm certain she will sort everything out for you. I've had a quick look round ECF (the huge international e-cig forum) & Lisa isn't on line at the moment. Maybe she has taken the weekend off.

Chrissie, I took your advice and emailed her with all the relevant info - PP transaction numbers, order & customer number etc.
If she has taken the weekend off then good for her.
I will leave it now till Monday and then, if I haven't heard from her, I will phone/email again as a gibbering pathetic wreck.......

Ohhhhhh! Having read that last post of mine back it sounds horrible!
I meant it tongue in cheek, honest I did!
I didn't mean that I may 'mistrust' Lisa, I meant I don't trust PayPal....
*lettie shut up, put the kettle on, and VAPE!!*

Hi lettie, don't think I've said hello yet? I'm a bit like u, 47 and mind like a dead goldfish! I'm a newbie vaper too like Kath so we're sort of going through the issues together. My panic now is that I didn't realise the Atties had such a short life span, I've given away all my rolling papers, tips and sold all my baccy so I'm praying my atties don't give out You're not too far from me, I'm in Cannock, Staffs. Good luck with vaping, I'm sure you'll love it x

Hiya Dee, and thank you for the welcome.
Which e-cig did you invest in, Dee?
I've got the Riva and I must say that I am very impressed with - although I obviously have nowt else to compare it to, which methinks is a blessing!

Lettie, been chuckling loudly at your posts. I assure you, you are in the right place for being a 'twonker'! I am now on day 16 of vaping (but I'm not counting) and still find myself in a morning, before brain engages properly (well, as well as it is going to thse days) and grab the Riva, then spend five minutes trying to find my lighter! Twerp or what?

Kath - I also bought a new attie from TW, and I can't get mine to work either. Have you managed to get your going? Perhaps they got a duff batch - or, we are even more duff than we realise we are.

Hanow,
They work.....after an age. That horrible gunk (Chrissie said primer) is atrocious. Like vaping castor oil. I blew through the hole onto kitchen paper with the last one and loads came out but you can still taste it. So I dripped and burnt it off, then just kept persevering, but didn't have such a good vape last night. Put one of the old ones back, in desperation, and got that working again. I'm not even sure when they are "dead". I presume when nothing happens? This morning, the new attie was OK, and I have been using it all day. I guess leaving it overnight gets the preferred juice to soak in?
I've got about 5 atties on the go, two of which are LR but I'm pretty sure one is dead. The only thing is, I am loathe to throw any of them away, just in case they "spring into life"! How do I know they are useless?
Kath

Just to let you know that I have been refunded for the over-payment - thank you Chrissie for the nudge, and thank you everyone at cloud9! Brilliant customer service x
Hubby and I took 14 month old grandson to the local pub tonight - they have a super beer garden.....and we only took the e-cig with us. We went at 6pm and was home by 7.15pm - and we never missed the cigs once! Now 1 hour 15 mins may not sound long, but for us that was a huge leap of faith for the e-cig.
We are both feeling very chuffed (pardon the pun) at the moment.
xx

Brilliant news all round Lettie - I just knew Lisa would refund you without any problems. She has just gone out of her way to help me as well. A couple of months ago I bought a GGTS USB adapter kit & a week or so ago the lead broke. Lisa only has a months warranty on them as the leads aren't made by Imeo - yet she still insisted in replacing the part for free. Lol, even after I argued with her as I know how small a profit margin she works with. So a well deserved thumbs up for Cloud 9 vaping UK : - www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epages/yxve46fvrnud.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Categories

Hiya Lettie (and everyone), Sorry I don't get to visit this forum as often as I should - just never enough hours in the day and it's pretty manic here most of the time. Glad you noticed the refund of the extra payment, Lettie, I actioned it as soon as I got your telephone message - technically haven't been working today although I've been up to my eyeballs in DIY related stuff so I may as well have been You never need worry with anything like that in my shop, I reconcile my paypal account with purchases at least every other day and always notice overpayments and errors of this nature and rectify them immediately. I think you'll love the titanium version of the Riva, it's pretty unusual and I don't think there's anything else out there there quite like it. Feel free to email me if you have any issues (I usually answer my emails pretty promptly). About being a twonker - well it takes one to know one.

So lovely to see you here Lisa and once again, thank you How is the total renovation of your house going? Must be so hard living there when so much still needs doing but it will be worth it in the end.
