Lettie I'm on the Riva, initially I bought a cheap £15 kit (e-healthy cigarette) which I've still got as a back up. It's got prefilled carts so I'm not so keen and trying to refill them's proved near impossible you just end up drinking the liquid rather than vaping it I'll never knock my cheap kit though, if it wasn't for that I'd still be smoking my roll ups as I'd never have had the courage to fork out for an expensive kit without first trying something. So glad you've gone for the Riva, although I haven't tried any of the other seriousl products I have to say I love my Riva. x

Dee that is so interesting re how you felt you wouldn't have forked out for a more expensive kit before trying something first. It's why I'm so much in 2 minds what to recommend to newbies.
My theory has always been to get someone up & running for as cheaply (& reliably) as possible.

I do agree with you Chrissie. It's the combination of cheap+reliable that worries me, and the resistance of many (viz the FHG Madam lady) to un-faglike e-cigs. If we're recommending to a very open mind it's possible to go for the Riva knowing it should give them a good start, but if the newbie is very hesitant is it best perhaps to choose the Mini, but they'll have to be lucky and easy going. scylla

Scylla, you are so right. Everyone is different & I'm guilty of thinking back to how I felt 2 years ago. There was so little info anywhere back then & I just wanted to spend as little as possible as I didn't want to waste too much money in case it turned out to be some useless gadget. I found a link to a thread on ECF but didn't have a clue what they where talking about & thought it was just an American site - hence why I didn't go back to join that forum till Nov08. Did find a few recommendations on there for the RN4081 - lol hard to be believe now that it was being raved about as the newest super model (So that's what I bought from Pillbox on eBay). Yet, though I soon found better, I still think it's a dam good reliable e-cig, even if it doesn't give as much vape/throat hit/battery life as other models - such a shame really it's being phased out. Though according to Jason, he will keep supplying spares for some considerable time.

Lisa _ you are a complete 100% star and I really do appreciate very prompt refund as it has now enabled me to buy more from you! I am just in the middle of sorting out an order of carts, atties (hark at me getting all down and groovy lol!) and thingmyjigs......xx
Hubby and I have shared the black Riva ALL weekend with only a couple of relapses (by Him I may add due to the excitement of the World Cup final) and we are really pleased with our selves.
I now have 80mls of various juices, blue foam, pipettes and tweezers, all from the lovely James.
Just need to order some extra atties, and wait for my titanium riva to arrive and there will be no stopping me (us).
Anything else I may need please feel free to point me in the right direction....... xx
