Just wanted to ask why do vendors build their web shop sites and categorise them in the Tobacco category, just wanted to know as when using my pc at work and due to admin security I get blocked from most vendors websites due to our servers blocking the e-cig websites due to them being seen by our servers as "Tobacco" just curious really

Hi richo71, I'm not sure if it's the vendors "categorising" their sites as tobacco, or whether it's the web categorising them based on content. I used to have problems every time someone bought FA Cuban Cigar concentrate with Paypal, due to US embargo's on Cuba and had to even send them a declaration from FA that it was made in Italy! Also, many sites based in England/Wales now or soon have to formally implement an over 18 policy, which can often result in web splash screens to enter their site that web filters may not like.
