rDNA 40 Clone temp control big fail

Hi all,

So today I was very excited to get in my hands the Vapor Shark rDNA 40 temp control clone
The excitement didn't last long
100% fail, and also now it's totally not working so it can't even be used with just standard kanthal

I think they work together with Smok on the chip..lol..

That's not good m8, I guess you may be right in that it's possibly the same board as the Smok. I cannot understand why would they ship items like this, I mean after all they could have got a clone chip the same as the Kangxin.

I was going to go for one of those a few weeks ago, glad I didnt.

No probs car147, I'd have loved to have done the whole info on this Thread but way too much to do so that's why I just linked my Thread on my site

I told the vendor to tell the makers all they need to do is use the Kangxin chip and they're laughing all the way to the bank....
But this chip they are using they won't be doing any laughing at the bank..lol...

The manufacturer have said that the chip is created by them, but I haven't been told who the manufacturer is.....

I told them they need to forget how they think it works and start all over again with the chip....

Good write up -V-, red coils like that are over 600 F, I know if I turn the light out I can fire the DNA40 at 600 F and it glows slightly then drops the power and continues to cycle like that. I read the GB are pulling them after you let them know, well done you have saved them and their customers some grief.

Sorry to disappoint you.We do tested it before sell it. Please trust us. After we made sure everything was fine, we started to sent almost 10 samples to different reviewer for review. I also sent 2 samples to my reviewer, i will ask for the feedback after they receive and use it.

If the majority of our sample have the same problems, we will change our supplier or stop selling this product.

i know its not there fault but ive dodged the bullet on this one because im one of them lucky gits that would get a fubared one
however if they are proved to be ok down the road ill get one

Great write up m8, I like the bit where they question you on not setting it up in temp mode , it is good you have passed this info on and saved anyone the disappointment if they had purchased it.
