apologies if this is already linked to on here but this is a blog that is definitely worth a read.  This professor has been working in the field of tobacco control for 25 years and is up in arms about the lies being used to try to ban/control vaping:

According to an article in the Legislative Gazette, New York state Assemblywoman Linda Rosenthal (D-Manhattan) is publicly claiming that electronic cigarettes will lead to an entire generation of youth becoming lifetime smokers.

In a way Linda is right. A lot of the people vaping now - and taking up vaping in the near future - are going to end up smoking when all the decent kit gets banned.

Best bit of the whole article

it is the Conservative Party which is standing up for the protection of the public's health and Rosenthal who is protecting the sales of the most toxic tobacco products on the market: real cigarettes.

actually having read a bit more of the blog....the comments are the best bit of it! lots of ex smokers/current vapers who are hounding this guy and not letting him forget the lies he told and supported about passive smoking. It's really quite entertaining! it's just 'groundhog day' and his readers are delighting in pointing out his hypocrisy. ah well, says a lot for my Friday nights that this is my source of entertainment....
