Ok I know this will have been asked a 100 times but I'm really struggling to make a nice tasty custard juice, would you guys recommend using a cream in the mix and if so which one. I like a sweet custard vape if that helps any recommendations.
cheers Mark.

Capella Vanilla Custard V1 concentrate is the go-to in my opinion. I use 18% of this, plus 5% of French Vanilla from the same company and 2% Ethyl Maltol to smooth out and sweeten slightly. At least 4 weeks for steeping, and then it just goes on getting better and better!

This is also a very nice Custard recipe alternative minime . . . . but you absolutely have to give it time to steep. GVC CLONECapella V1 Vanilla Custard 18% Dulche de Leche 2% French Vanilla Deluxe 4% Sweetener 1%

I think I currently have about 250ml of custard to the recipe I posted above ^^^ steeping, and I'm today going to broach a 100ml bottle to start vaping, and then mix another 200ml to start the process. If you can get ahead like this you'll never be without custard!!

Thanks everyone. I'm using cap v1 Dulche de leche Cap vanilla But it's just not that nice, iv seen people putting different creams in the mix so was wondering if that's what is missing. I used to love devilishly delicious custard but I'm sure they have changed it now.
Mind I'm having a nightmare with mixing at the moment,iv just had 2 hours mixing just stand alone flavours and everyone is errr well rubbish, iv even done the good old life saver red Astaire and even that just don't taste right at all. Iv even been and bought new Nic/vg and pg but nothing is working.

They will be, I don't know quite what your expectations are in all honesty minime if you don't give your mixes some time to blend/infuse/steep. If you purchase from a Vendor, there's the transit time at the very least - yet you mix something and within a nanosecond expect it to be marvelous. Mixers who have zero patience, do at times make me want to give up on this Board, I get that frustrated.

Most of what I mix are good to go and iv been mixing these ones for 3 year now with no problems whatsoever, but just lately nothing is tasting has it used to, absolutely un vaperble tbh.
Some of the juice iv mixed is over 3 week old and still exactly has it was the first day.
The custards I leave for 4 week before I try them.

Look at what equipment you're using . . .

That's the annoying thing I already have I got some hangsen and I can taste that with no issues at all. I have tried all my different kit but just getting the same old rubbish flavour.
I'm not new to mixing and never had a problem like this before that's what is making it so annoying.
Iv done all the usual like doing a mix without Nic in it to rule that out but still no sodding joy.

That is very odd, how have you stored your concentrates? Have you tried a new freshly ordered bottle from chefs for example? You said you did a trial without nic and still not good? What make pg and VG do you use?

Stored in cool dark place And the juice that is good to go I keep in the fridge to slow the steeping down because it gets weaker the longer it steeps.
Iv got new cap and FW concentrates.
My Nic/ vg and pg are new from Paul at ecig depot his Nic is Swiss Nic from HOL so I know it's good stuff and a friend of mine works at HOL and he uses the exact same stuff, it really is strange and I'm not joking when I say I'm about ready to throw the towel in on mixing it's that bad.

My syringes are glass I give them a good wash in soapy warm water then a good rinse, I do use my old bottles but give them a really good wash out.
The thing that has really got me is with the red Astaire because this has to be the most fool proof concentrate to mix but even this tastes nothing like it should do it is quite disgusting. I know it's goto be something I'm doing wrong because a friend has given me some concentrate that he uses with no problem and I'm having no luck with that ether I'm not adding anything but the 3 main ingredients.
