When you're putting aties or carto's onto a battery of any kind you should only be tightening until the center post makes contact, if you screw things any harder then all you are doing is creating unnecessary strain on the components. It's also very easy for the center post of an attie to get pushed up inside so that it wont make contact. This however doesn't help your current problem these vision stardusts are designed for the ego, I have both ego and riva battery's here and they work without issue. Can you post a pic of the battery connector of the satrdust so that we can see what we're dealing with?

Thanks Blakey I tried alll sorts of different screwing on methods last night really loose, loose tight, very tight none seemed to work was also going to post pics but was loosing the will to live. I was hoping to be home when it was still light but it wasn't so hope these pics are clear enough firstly how ego and riva battery compare : Connections on stardust and picture of stardust in case I'm barking up wrong tree altogether and finally ego with stardust on :

Does the stardust work with that RIVA battery pictured K?
Can't make it out clearly but the only logical explanation is that the center post on your stardust has sunk..

It did work on Riva until their centre Pins sunk (and you know how that story turned out ), but I have 4, 2 of which I have used , 1 of which I unwrapped last night and put liquid in too see if it was that the used ones had "expired"and one that is still in the wrapper all the centres look the same. FYI the centre post on the ego is definitely higher than on Riva.

Just looking at that pic of the vision on my phone, that center post looks Like It's been pushed in, can anyone with a larger screen confirm?

But you just now posted a picture of a RIVA battery alongside your new Ego. Was that picture taken from before you sent the RIVA to me? Just looking at that pic of the vision on my phone, that center post looks Like It's been pushed in, can anyone with a larger screen confirm? The silicone cap does look a bit more squished against the mouthpiece than normal Blakey. There is no other logical explanation is there?

Blakey , Macca your right , just tried the new one one the newest Riva and it works, still doesn't work on the Ego or the older Riva though.
Bugger did I break my Riva's and it was actually the stardusts ? And how do I fix that then? Only used them a few days and not a lot cos I hadn't worked out how to seal the caps so only used them at night .
Much as I love them think I may have to use the Stardusts to test the easy liquid then give up on them (dives in to Easy Liquid)

I don't understand why you said to Gordy last night that you had no other batteries to test the stardusts on.
Anyways, glad you got at least one battery on which the stardust works..
It's very strange though why a brand new stardust would not work on the Ego battery. Best thing to do is to PM/email FV and ask him to send you batteries that work with the stardusts.
You shouldn't have to do anything K..They should work, period..The thing I most dislike about this e-cig business is that you got to fiddle with a lot of brand new items to make 'em work properly. If I bought a kettle for £15 I would expect it to boil water out of the box and not have to rewire it for it to work..

Cos I was using the old stardusts on the Riva and they didn't work so in my head I had tried them on the Riva and they didn't work, it was only when you and Blakey said the same thing I thought oohhh I wonder , emailed Kev earlier so will see what he says, I was dry burning the the Clearo with liquid in it its not working so good, think I'll stick to the Carto's might not be as nice a vape but at least I don't drive myself and others demented trying to work out whats wrong lol! Agree with you about the kettle !

I feel for you K. If the batteries that you bought do not work with a brand new stardust but they work on a RIVA then there is something wrong with the threads. I hope FV send you some replacements which work with the stardusts.
I was pulling out what little of my hair I have left cause I feel responsible in some way since I pointed you in the direction of those Ego batteries.
