Best thing to do is to PM/email FV and ask him to send you batteries that work with the stardusts. If the batteries work with other consumables like 510 atomisers and cartomisers, the vendor shouldn't have to change the battery to suit a new cartomiser. If they don't, fair enough.

If the vendor is being difficult, which I don't think will happen you can always invoke the 7 day distance selling clause..
If something that I bought is not fit for purpose and cannot be used the way it is meant to be used that's what I would do.

The problem really lies with the non-standardization of threads it seems to me as opposed to any User/Vendor error . . . I'd suggest it's becoming more apparent with the number of new vaping widgets that are coming onto the market of late.
When we only had a limited choice of a couple of atomiser types, there weren't these types of problems . . . it's no consolation for sure, but it must be just as frustrating for Vendors as it is for those of us buying the products.

True Perpetua but if the vendors who sell to end users don't take responsibility who will bring this issue to the attention of the manufacturers?

O I don't disagree Macca . . . I guess many of us have gotten used to a little faff with our gear to get it performing, in way that we wouldn't find acceptable on other consumables that we buy.
Maybe because it's still a fledgling industry . . .

Yeah it's a sticky situation Perpetua..
However, the more I think about it, the more I feel that the culprit to K's problems is a duff batch of Stardusts rather than the batteries themselves..

I'm inclined to agree with you Macca . . . I do feel for Kirsty have to say . . . ever so disheartening for her.

Now I'm all quandrified because I kind of agree with Storm and Jason that it could be me being ham handed or just tough cheese. But on the other hand I don't think even me could get it wrong just putting a carto on a battery once or twice to test it would wreck it , and it is suspicious that the stardusts not only don't work on Ego but were involved in the demise of two of my Riva's (although according to Macca I am no way innocent in that one either). I have had the stardusts 2 weeks though and would imagine they are DOA only and I only have one completely clean one. Think lesson here is stick to what I know for a bit and don't get distracted by shiny things on here.
Macca definitely don't feel bad about the batteries its me that bought two!
And don't you feel bad for me either Perpy its a lesson learned and now that I am giving up on the Stardusts I can get back to focus on using what works ..
Oh jeezy peeps can you imagine what would have happened if I let Karma lead me down that flipping LT path the other day ................................................

We all agree but don't shout at the vendors , it's the shall we just say less QA tested stuff coming in from asia , you get what you pay for , most of our reputed vendors will more than likely replace or refund if the gear is genuinely dud

Kirsty your going to have to be more gentle Yep, that's what I thought I could see on my phone storm, either the vision came like that or it's been screwed down too tight and the center pin has been pushed up. It doesn't look like the battery is at fault here. None of these manufacturers seem to warn about over-tightening their products on to battery's, it could probably save a lot of people a lot of wasted time and money.
