Just seen these on a post on faceache, Clapton coils for the Nautlius, on the Aspire website all the mini Triton coils will now fit the Nautilus, interesting concept, not that I know jack about what a Clapton coil is or how it would benefit me ecigaspire.co.uk/shop.php#!/Triton-Mini-Clapton-Coils-5-Pack/p/56794620/category=12502334

Buried away in their website, I see they have a range of custard's Doughnut stand there called. Has anyone tried these? Only sell 70ml bottles so a lot to tip down the sink if I don't approve haha

I use them in my subtank and Bellus. Need an additional 20w to get the same ramp up speed as a regular coil. All it is is a core of wire wrapped in smaller wire. For example I have 28g kenthal wrapped in 32g kenthal.

on aspires site the 1.8 ohm clapton coils are good up to 16 watts and the 0.5 way more.

All you need to know about Clapton Coils.
1. They take more power to heat (as there is more wire to heat) 2. They will give you more vapour 3. They will consume e-juice like a leaking tap. 4. They will drain your battery quicker. 5. They can potentially cause problems with your battery - depending on what you are using - you need good batteries that can handle higher amp requirements. (Don't use Spinner/Ego type batteries)
If you want a warmer more flavourful vape try them, you won't be disappointed.
Looking at the juice holes in those Mini Triton Clapton coils does make me think of burnt/dry hits, they look rather small to be able to wick enough juice to your wick and supply the coil which will crave juice. You'll struggle with thicker/high VG juices.
