Sterlingo - BCL

Evening all,

Whilst loving my Drip-Hacks cryo mango and Chef's Guango, I had the hankering for another tobacco flavour. After my initial lack of love to Black Devil and Space Shark from BCL, I was kind of interested to sample a bit of Sterlingo.

Mixed - 65% VG, 4ml nicotine. Mix date - 6 October.

Sterlingo is billed as a creamy tobacco. Hmmmm...so was Space Shark and for me that was just pure cream....

So, how was Sterlingo? Well, not bad and certainly interesting. I'm not sure if the 'sterling' part of the name is a reference to the cheap cigarette brand, because this is certainly like a cheap cigarette taste - not always a bad thing for us vapers, I guess!

In fact, this is as close to a taylor-made cigarette that I have tried as a vape. Interestingly, I'm not getting any cream flavour at all.

Vaping this on a Cleito at 38w (0.2 ohm and a new coil...) - it leaves a bit of a dry after taste (maybe this is just me....) - it also smells a little like cigarette smoke in the vape...

An interesting one for sure. Do I like it? Far too early to pass judgement...but it has my interest at the moment...would actually like the cream and other bits to start sneaking through...back in the cupboard, me thinks. 

On the subject of Drip Hacks, I loved the first ones enough to put an order in tonight for creameux, joeten's and cryo-mango - thank you for the introduction to these wonderful concentrate makers

I love most I have bought off BCL but would never think of using them dtl/sub ohming. I think with NETs you need to mtl with higher pg?

Tomo - For my first set of BCL's I used the higher PG and found them pretty good. I mainly used a low wattage Nautilus. For this lot, I wanted to try them with a bit higher VG and I am mainly using the Cleito now.

Maybe that is the reason I am getting more muted flavour at the moment.

I will certainly give the Nautilus tanks another try when they come up for coil change
