AAEC top-of-page banner mystery

When I open a new thread or page, the banner flashes on for a fraction of a second then disappears, just leaving a plain text header. This has only started happening today?

Sandra's & Hifi's sigs haven't ever shown for me - I think you need to be a registered signed in member of VTTV to see them? Been meaning to mention that to Sandra & Hi-fi for a while.

Oneday, re your problem with the banner, try deleting your cache.

Yes, thanks all for mentioming the banners, dunno why they don't show up anymore, unless Chrissie has hit the nail on the head. Once my internet is working correctly I will change that, at the moment everything takes an age to load

Sandra, if I right click on the "image" where you banner should be & choose "view image" it takes me to the vapour trails log in/register page & a message saying "You are not authorised to download this attachment."

So the problem is, I think, that you are linking to an attachment in a post on VTTV? And in many forums, you have to be a registered signed in member to see attachments. To solve the problem, the banner needs hosting.

But it used to show Chrissie ??? And Hifi's used to.

Not a problem anyway, I will remove it once I am up and running, which shouldn't be long now. Will prob put the AAEC one back

I haven't got a 'view image' option on right click. Weird.
