Hi all Well, after one of my riva batts packed in the other day i thought i would try something different when i came across a thread about the mini Argento. It looked like what i needed with its cheap replaceable batts and has good reviews. The charger supplied looked way dodgy so im on the lookout for a safer one. A few questions if i may. Should i be buying the so called safe batts, i wasnt aware these mods were capable of blowing up or have i read it wrong? When i screw my cart in i get good connection and tightness but the cart could be turned another 2 full turns until it is flush with mini. Is it ok like that or should i screw it till it stops? I just need to order more batts and a cheap decent charger now.

If so, I was sent one and complained about the quality, I was told that it was sent by mistake and a better quality replacement was sent a few days later. I think sellers need to be told when stuff they sell is sub-par, especially when safety is an issue.

Karma, that looks a lot safer than the one i received and no i didnt get a hot spring springy thing. i did ask at checkout but in receipt i was told its not as standard to supply and was recommended the website iVapour Elixir to buy one from but they are out of stock so im stuck for now. Takshaka, the one i got was a charger with 2 pins that hinge out and a travel adapter plug that the pins push into. I told all family members not to touch the charger as i considered it unsafe. It is indeed very nice and i like the button

Indeed, the button is placed very nicely TBH, I'm not surprised that BV aren't sending the hot springs out any more, it must have cost them a fair bit. I'm sure iVapour will get them in again and they're not expensive, why don't you e-mail and ask for an expected delivery date? I didn't get the charger with mine and in one way I see where you're coming from. I've been told these chargers are fine if you use them with an extention cable that has a 3 amp fuse in it. If they were to include a charger like the one I linked to it would double the price However, I'd rather play safe and that Xtar charger will charge loads of different size batteries and is considered to be very safe, so should pay for itself in the long term! Even so, I only charge bats when I'm around and never overnight when everyone is sleeping.

Coughless you've bought a great mod. No fuss, no frills, does what it says on the tin. I use mine all the time. Don't screw the carto right down. With any vaping device, just screw the carto/vision/tank/whatever gently down until it will fire. Turning it any further will push the centre pin of the battery down. It will still work on that particular carto but might not make a connection with others. The centre pin can be lifted again, but it's best to avoid it in the first place
