OK, as most of you are aware from my previous posts I bought my hubby a Riva 1100 on recommendation from aaec members.
Before I start let me explain. My husband he is a PASSIVE smoker he has been smoking since he was a teenager.
When we got married I never use to smoke, but I thought if I make out that I will start, he may cut down the cigarettes smoke, It didn't happen instead I became addicted!
For years I have constantly told him that he smokes to much and to cut down! His hands are never free, he constantly has a cigarette in his hands every second of the day.
After 25yrs I had enough and I made a rule (hoping it will make him cut down) I STOPPED smoking in the house! I thought to myself "well let me see you going out in the garden in the winter months every second of the day to smoke"
It didn't work, well it worked 60% but, he would constantly go into the bathroom to smoke secretly in the house or I would fall asleep upstairs and wake up to the smell of cigarette smell in the house!
Well, I seriously had enough, because deep down I knew I had to quit smoking, cos my father died when I was 10 from heart attack) he use to smoke too and I will never forget when I was a child he use to have to stop while walking along the street, cos he couldn't breath until he put this tablet under his tongue. (I don't know what it was, but it use to work) he died a yr or so after aged 56. So with all this going through my mind and me starting smoking to try and stop him, it seemed nothing was going to work!!!
I decided enough is enough, I'm going to put my foot down more, baring in mind this could end in divorce ( cos I knew he would not give up or cut down!)
A couple of months ago I smelt cigarette in the house I HIT THE ROOF!!! I told hubby to move out and go and rent a room and smoke as much as he wants until his lungs cannot take no more!!!
Well well, that stopped him smoking in the house, but he would constantly moan. But, remember winter is not here yet.
He kept moaning that he cannot smoke in his own house and that he cannot watch TV with a cup of coffee and a cigarette. I wouldn't have it, cos I KNEW I had to stop smoking and seeing him constantly smoke will make it impossible for me!
To cut a long story short 2 weeks ago I bought the Skycig starter pack to see if it will help me cut down, hubby thought I was mad!!!!
I took no notice of him and continued on my mission! But, every now and again I would tell him to take a puff. his reaction would be shaking his head "omg how can you vape that? I would tell him "well it's better than smoking. He kept observing me day by day and saw I wasn't smoking.
I bought a second skykit hoping he would vape. He used it without liking it, but only because he wanted to smoke while watching TV.
Well Well in the past 2 weeks I noticed he was taking it to work with him (cos he works in catering and he can vape as he can't smoke there) clever clogs lol
I bought my 510T a few days ago and he thought I was MAD!!!! But, the following day he took one of my 510T e cigs to work, cos it lasts longer, he came home with it the other day, I asked him how he got on with it and he said "ahhh the battery run out" hmmmm I thought I wonder if the battery lasted will he take vaping seriously????
That's what prompted me to purchase the Riva!!!!
OK, Riva arrived today, I tested it out before hubby came home and it is absolutely amazing!!!!
Hubby come home (I was a bit worried, cos I have spent so much money in the past 2 weeks)
I smiled at him when he walked through the door and he looked at me as if to say WHAT'S UP WITH HER? I said to him "sit down I'll make you a coffee" he still looked shocked wondering why I'm being so nice!
Then!!!!!
I took out the Riva! His first impression was shocked and he said "What another one?" I said wait just take a puff of this" then his phone rang, so while on the phone his vaping away, I looked at him and said "well" he put his thumb up meaning PERFECT!!!!! Wow!!!! he said "PERFECT"!!!!!
When he got off the phone he said this tastes just like Golden virginia and this machine is really good" whoop whoop how about that
His been vaping on it for around 2 hours now and he said " this will do me fine all day!!!!!! He hasn't had a rollie (no he will do I know him to well, to early for him to quit and I won't put pressure on him, but he did say " I don't fancy a rollie now!
So. that's the story of hubby and the Riva...his going to love it I know!!!!!
