im getting severe headaches

Hey guys the last few weeks im getting very bad severe headaches, im taking loads of pain killers but they dont help much.

I forgot what PG and VG is whats the one some people have problems with?

I've never heard of anyone getting headaches with PG (propylene glycol) or VG (vegetable glycerin) personally, but nicotine can give some people headaches in larger doses than they've been used to.
Have you ever had headaches before judgey, or is this the first time?

There have been some members of the forum with PG allergies I think.

Judgey if its vaping related then its more likely that you are getting dehydrated or having too much nicotine... drink plenty of water and cut down on your vaping and see if that helps... if not then go see your GP

As an afterthought, as your headaches are severe and painkillers aren't helping, it could be migraine, particularly if the pain is on one side of your head. You need to see your Dr.

Anne and Gordy are right, if its not quickly sorted by drinking more or taking less nic then go see your doc, I had terrible headaches in the very beginning of vaping but they soon past.

I too have had a few headaches caused by vaping, and I suffer with headaches and migraines all the time. The reason for the vaping headaches was that I was really stressed out and was chain vaping a high strength (36mg) constantly for about 4 hrs. I agree with everyone above, drink pleanty, sessen the nic intake, and if no joy, ger to your GP as soon as you can as you might be having a migraine attack, which if you have never had one can be scary for the first time.

I would up my e-liquid strength to vape less..

Sounds counter intuitive but it works for me..At 18 mg I am constantly puffing away getting headaches cause I am not getting the instant Nic hit that I need.

At 24 mg I can have a max of 5 drags and can't physically take anymore in so put my PV down for the next 20 minutes to half hour, sometimes longer.

Agrees. Severe headaches shouldn't be ignored. If the advice to cut down on nicotine and drink more fluids doesn't work QUICKLY, get medical advice!

I also agree re the drinking more fluids. however, if your headaches are severe, you really should go & see your GP as they may not even be vaping related.

You're right, there is method in this!

I dropped to 12 and puffed all bloody day long.. 18 gives me a good kick and I leave it alone! Saying that run out of 18 now and loads of 12 left so guess I will be on it a lot lol!
