Sorry for making people repeat stuff but I've been searching the forums for about an hour now and I can't find answers to my questions, even though I've read them before... so I'm gonna ask em!
I own a Riva 1100 kit. I want to try direct dripping. What is the best atomiser to buy? (I'm vaping lower strength liquids 12 - 18mg if that makes any difference...) I'm also ordering an 1100mah ego twist - different atomiser for this one?
Secondly I saw a comment somewhere that you shouldn't use LR resistance clearomisers with the riva 11000 battery, but I can't find the thread that talks about this. I've been using a 1.8ohm clearomiser for a few days. Should I stop? What can go wrong?
Thirdly, I assume I'll be ok to use the 1.8 clearomiser with my new ego-twist?(which should arrive on Tuesday - Yay!)
Lastly, thanks so much guys for all your help - I don't know what I would have done without you all to help me along, and I'm passing on the knowledge - both my mother-in-law and a good mate are buying starter kits this weekend after seeing me with my ecig!

Good to hear you're still enjoying vaping and sharing the vaping lurve I've always been undert the impression that you shouldn't go bellow 2ohms on a Riva battery. I think it has something to do with the battery not being regulated and the wires thinner inside a Riva than an Ego I have used lr cartos on my Twist with no problem As for dripping atties, try this one www.vapeescape.co.uk/bauway-306-lr-atomiser~217don't forget to order a drip tip for it. This atties also come unbridged but you're as well buying a bridged one as if you want to try it without it is easy to remove

I've never owned a Riva so i can't comment but theres no problem with the twist. Keep it at low voltage to start and make sure you keep the 306 wet. With a brand new one, put your drip tip on and drop 4-5 drops in it and leave it for a minute. Otherwise you'll think it's dead. These are good for the standard 306's and you can use your favourite drip tip on it. www.safercigs.co.uk/IO6306_Tip_Adapter/p705283_6357314.aspx

Ok all arrived today, 10ml strawberry ice cream (weekend offer from Vape Escape - thanks guys! I must be their best customer in the last ten days... ) 306 LR atty with swirly drip tip (think I might be getting in touch with my feminine side!)... First attempt - horrible - (reading some posts I realise that I was probably vaping primer - Doh!) Then checked the voltage/resistance charts. Made some adjustments, dripped and... Oh wow!!! just... wow! Loving the strawberry ice cream, loving the full flavour... just... wow! So I can't see myself dripping when I'm out and about - far too much hassle down the pub (or on a Megabus lol!), but at home - yeah baby! Again thanks to all for help and advice - love your work guys!!! ps is it wrong to hide some of the things I've bought from my wife... just to avoid questions like "how much have you actually spent in the last 10 days?"

Ha Ha, I find hiding things under DH's nose works for me So long as he doesn't see it delivered, I'm just like 'what? Had that for ages ' or 'what? it's just a battery' which is a good one, you can buy packs of 8 batteries in poundies for £1, so a battery is just a battery #icon_rofl#
