is it a 306 atty kibby? 306's are great as when they get dry they give out an after hiss (after hiss is when the button is let go but the atty still hisses for a second) as soon as i hear it do this then i dont inhale the vape back... i just blow it straight out my mouth... its saved me many a bad hit Gordy beat me to it and I got the very same advice from.....Gordy As soon as I hear it hiss after the button is released I know it's time to drip some more in - never had a problem since I learned that little gem

Yes, I can see this mixing mularkey becoming every bit as addictive as everything else vaping related Was just tidying everything away and something occurred to me - once these capella bottles are opened, should they be stored in the fridge? I keep all the base, PG and VG in there after opening, but until now hadn't really thought about the flavourings.

Must be something in the air, I've had my first go at mixing tonight as well Will hopefully turn out as something that vaguely resembles waffle n' blueberries, but I'll give it a few days then see what it's like. Smells lovely, so with any luck will taste ok too

My OH has asthma and like you I always smoked outside, also never in the car etc. When I first started vaping I didn't feel the need to go outside anymore, but I wouldn't while in the same room as him. Now however, vaping away happily while he's around and also in car, with no ill effects.
Would probably be worth your OH getting his worsening symptoms checked out as might be completely unrelated to your vaping.
ETA just had a thought, might be he's sensitive to PG or VG - I guess that could make it worse

I think those attys should come with a big sign saying 'REMOVE THE BLACK PLASTIC BIT'. When I got my first 306 there was at least half an hour of head scratching and then the plastic thingy came off accidentally - suddenly it all made sense LOL. I tried to attack the top of it (first screwdriver, then power tools!) thinking it was a sealed-in bung (like you get on cartos!) Can you use the black plastic bit for anything useful? I only got as far as the screwdriver and luckily the thing fell off anyway. I 'd actually wondered initially if I'd been sent a carto by mistake The only use the black plastic thing seems to have is to make absolute fools of normally sensible people

I have the stainless steel Vamo and we've become inseperable! Had a trip over the big hill to VapeEscape on Xmas eve rather than waiting for the slow boat. I take it to work in mini mode and get a full day out of it, and use the bigger battery at home. It doesn't feel overly massive to me, just reassuringly solid. The only issue I've had is that it sometimes switches itself off if the battery gets jiggled. Might send Jason a message and ask about the hotspring as the postie hasn't brought one yet and it looks like some other people have received one. I'm on a self-imposed spending ban now for at least a month (yeah, right! ), but think an Aga-T or DID might be next. StS Also love mine and do the same - mini mode for work and big battery at home. Also had the occasional switch off, but not that often tbh. Hoping I'm on the list for a spring as well

You and me both - these beggars know exactly what they're doing unfortunately, highly unlikely a lot of us would have the same success if we were limited to the sort of strength they're proposing

I can see where you're going with it Ron, but it's not quite right. If I buy say a 50ml bottle of 18mg/ml strength, it'll be that strength whether I buy 50ml or 1ml. I think you're maybe confusing the total amount of nicotine in a bottle with the concentration. e.g. a 10ml bottle of 18mg/ml will have a total nicotine content of 180mg and a 20ml bottle will have a total nicotine content of 360mg, but whichever way you do it, you still end up with a concentration of 18mg/ml. If it's limited to 4mg/ml a 10 ml bottle would only have a total nicotine content of 40mg as opposed to the 180mg if it's 18mg/ml - a huge reduction in both total content and concentration

Thanks so much Perpy, I had a feeling that I might have to be careful with the fruit flavours, but wanted to check. Also thanks for the advice on the VG - just hoping the vodka didn't take too much of a caning on hogmanay or I'll not be as ready as I thought

So I "think" I've got everything I need - except for some stevia sweetener that is on it's way. Also back at work, so unlikely to get much of a chance to do anything before weekend. Just a quick question though. I bought my VG from Boots and I'm really unsure whether I need to thin it down first. I've seen gloopier glycerin, so it doesn't seem too bad, just wondered if anyone who's bought the same thins it a bit before mixing? I've an idea what I want to try first - blueberry waffle and raspberry cheesecake and another question arises.....when mixing fruit and "dessert" flavours is it generally better to have more of one than the other, or should I just try 50:50 and go from there? Roll on Saturday ETA - I'll be going for approx 50:50 PG:VG if that helps
