Excellent effort markm you have done every one of us proud by taking the time to help our community be very proud if we all put in the same effort we would be a lot nearer our goal. Keep up the good work and please shout if any of us can help in any way:)
i think most members will recomend to stay clear of cigalikes for a few reasons one battery life is very poor and two the cartridges are a very expensive way to vape , we have many setups that we recommend with all different price ranges but here is a beginner setup that i have just got for myself after 7 months of vaping and after ammasing all sorts of mods/equipment mostly high end stuff. The reason for my purchase is sometimes i want something small that is problem free, i have started a few friends/family on these and all are extremely impressed and have had easy results with quiting stinkies. I have not yet received my package so at this point can not comment on the vendor but at the price stated i thought it was worth a try.
i wish you luck with your vaping and please fire away with any questions before purchasing equipment as we have probably made any mistakes that you are likely to make already.
I wish you luck for your dog lets hope it all goes well, im also glad you have reached that point were u think what did i actually like about smoking definitely not the taste or smell can only be the habit to rely on to treat yourself mentally with a little perk. Stay strong i even bet your dog prefers you not smoking i know my cat does not sneeze like he used too when i used to smoke in the same room as him:) Once again good luck and my best wishes for this morning. Regards Rich
Welcome its nice to have more people join to help others if we can i think its what makes our forum different to others as there are many selfless people on here.
Jordan i would order a vibrator quick and say they sent it by mistake but now its here she may as well have it, you will save yourself a fortune and be able to vape in peace for years to come hehe.
1) The 650mah battery will be ok for several hours of use, be that either a working day, or an evening (not both), but will probably want to be upgraded to something bigger if I want to last all day and evening, is that right? (this is why I assume so many people recommend a min of 2x batteries). If so then I'm cool with that, once I've eased myself in I'm happy to pick up a second, higher capacity battery. Batteries such as these would make a decent upgrade once i'm happy with making this an all-day affair, correct? My original 650 could then be relegated to either backup or I can rotate/charge..
Jim you normally need two batteries to allow you to have a backup on charge or charged at any point the last thing you want after a week or two without smoking is for a problem to occur with your one setup and be forced to goto the shop and buy tobbaco, you will be amazed that if your head is in the right place you will quickly forget the stinkies and concentrate on the benefits of vaping.
2) The tank that forms the major part of the kit (that lovely pyrex piece) should last an age, right? I see that they're sold separately, does that mean they ha[/font]ve to be replaced regularly? If so, how often would they have to be replaced, and how does this compare to cheaper ones? I know a tenner isn't a great deal (at current prices, and I'm always aware that prices only ever go up), but considering I only burn through apx 3 bags of £4.50 tobacco a week, I'd hate to be having to replace the pyrex any more often than say, every month at the most, preferably every 2 or 3 months..
The tank will last for as long as it takes you to drop it or damage it if you are carefull it should last an age.
3) The coils/wicks have to be replaced more often, I get that - apx once per week, right? Another reason I like that mini protank is that it looks very easy to do your own wicks & coils for it, I don't intend to jump right in at first, but knowing that I can wash out the glass & re-do my own coils later is a big plus point.
Some juices ruin wicks quicker than others i think a couple of weeks is a safe bet for a wick but bear in mind that with only one tank if you have different flavours it will mean washing the tank out for flavour changes and with strong flavours ie menthol the taste is hard to get out of the wick and will normally make your next juice have a trace of menthol flavour.
Once you have found the right setup for you and juice a 30mm bottle should last you 2-3weeks so buying the correct setup at the begining will save you in the longrun, if i were you instead of dipping a toe in the water with one battery etc i would commit fully and jump right in which should also put you in a better frame of mind to quit the stinkies.
also look at the following link the mini protank two is due out very shortly.
