Firstly, massive thanks to lairey for the free sample of Castle Long. Did I say thanks? I can't thank you enough It's rather nice I must say, and with some tweaking I think I found an alternative ADV to Red Astaire. The coconut is slightly overpowering the other flavours for my taste and there wasn't much of a throat hit until I boosted the nicotine up to 6mg but other than that it's highly recommended. Now I best get ordering the ingredients! Lastly, I forgot to thank lairey. Big thank you for helping me with finding another ADV!!

I always go through this dilemma, and I tend to shop in China unless I could be paying more cash on something that's likely to break.

I know you have to move with the times but I hate FB with a passion. I still don't get how the BBC advertise free for them, twitter crap included. So I'm with the OP, any competitions for people who don't want to sell their soul (entire life) to the devil (marketing corps)?

I just purchased this from robby's group buy, thread here....
allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/52180/sca1-squonker-goer-posted-today
Used twice. Condition is as it came. Selling because I could do with freeing up some cash for a +30w mod. At least I can say I squonked
I paid £40 for the device plus £4.50 for 3 spare bottles. Looking for £40 delivered or may trade/part ex for another regulated mod.
Thanks.SOLD (Istick 20w for illustrative purposes only. The squonker is tiny for an 18650 and feels solid in the hand)

Would it be possible for someone to send me a sample of this? I've bought so much concentrate lately to find an ADV that I can't really justify spending so much more to try this (I don't have any of the flavours unfortunately). I can pay for the sample and postage Cheers.

I was looking for Grizwalds arctic lemon and Q kindly suggested this recipe as an alternative. I must point out that it's my first review and I don't have great taste buds. After over a week of steeping I finally tried it today at 1ohm 12w. Straight away I'm hit with menthol, probably too much at first. Then straight away the lime zinger hits then finally a rather nice undertone of anise upon exhale. It's fairly nice but not quite what I was after. I'll be definitely making more but next time with only 1% menthol, maybe 8% lime zinger and 12to15% lemon. This is because the lime and menthol is overpowering what I was after....lemon. I'll probably also add a little sweetener. I'll give it another couple of weeks steeping before trying it again, hopefully the menthol will have calmed down by then. Thank you for the recipe Q, much appreciated. It puts me on the road to finding to my perfect lemon menthol

It's funny that I also got nic sick when I mixed my first few batches of juice at 12 to 18mg although I was used to vaping 24mg. It makes me wonder if some of the 'not-so-expensive' juices have actually far less nicotine in than indicated due to it being the most expensive ingredient. Could be an interesting debate

I purchased the torch that you linked to a couple of years ago Robby. 4 x cree led's with wide beam which takes 4 x 18650. It takes the mickey out of all other torches! Last year I went camping and my mate thought he would bring along his 'high power' torch to shut me up about how bright mine was. He shone in on to a tree a few hundred yards away in pitch black and you could just make out the tree. Nice. Switched mine on and the whole hillside lit up like daylight. Can't beat a good torch The best use for the torch though was when I got stranded up hellvellyn at 2am (long story) and I had to navigate back down from the Red Tarn in absolute pitch black. Scary due to rough ground, streams, large cliffs and scary looking vampire sheep (well that was it seemed like on your own at that time in a morning). It was like walking with the sun out.

You could help us out here scs. Can you tell what size screws they are? Still awaiting mine, but want to swap them out. Hi buggritt, Errr, very small I'm not sure how to measure the screw/no. I don't have any gauges or anything, all I could do is use a simple tape measure but it wouldn't give you the threads per inch or whatever you would need. Apologies.

As a matter of interest, how does the other side of the cover fit into the mod? is there a ledge where you put the one end in first? scsYes Robby, a small nobble (nobble? lol) that slots in first then screw down the two screws.

Thank you for the replies and cheers for the offer Robby! As advised, I got it out using a dremel to cut a slot in the head and removed with flat driver. It was stuck so fast that the head snapped off, but I managed to remove the cover then used pliers to remove the stem. I don't think I'll be getting another screw in there though so I'm stuck with a cover rattle. Still, I got it working Let's see what Gearbest say. Thanks again everyone, much appreciated.
