I think I'll try another build with my Ni200. And try and get as much wraps as I can then. See if that helps. I want to like it. But just can't get on with the weakness of it. It's a shame, as I really like my subtanks, but the Ni coils are just weak (shouldn't have bought so many to be fair). As for airflow, I'm all for fully open. I never restrict my airflow on anything I use.
I'll try my Crius as it is needing rebuilt anyway, and report back with my findings.

So, I have a few TC devices now, and keep trying them out. But something just isn't jelling.
Every hit seems weak. And the temp protection comes in so that the wattage is limited to around 10w or something equally as low.
To be fair, I am using stock Kanger Ni200 coils on my subtank. But I do have some Ni200 wire for building on drippers.
But the result is usually the same regardless.

Thanks for the information. Much appreciated.
That looks great Robby. Does it do normal AA charging too? I've been looking to expand my charger set-up anyway since christmas saw a LOAD of eneloop AA and AAA batteries needing charged.
EDIT: Just ordered one too.

It was the very first post in this thread that has put me off. Granted, I should do more reading though.
That's fine then, I'll test this first cycle, and if I'm happy, then happy days. Sure, it takes longer, but I have plenty other mods to use while one is charging.
What's the deal with the 2A USB charging hubs? (One of my laptops has a high power outlet, but I was thinking of getting a powered USB hub anyway, which has a 2A output slot). Would they be compatible? Or would that be too much? My D4 knocks charging down to 375mA when charging more than 2 batteries, so 2A through the USB, split over the 3 batteries would be 660mA, which would be faster than the dedicated charger. Or am I missing something here?

I have VTC4's, VTC5's and loads of 25r's. I have married 25r's for my VaporFlask, Hana One (Also have a single for the single 18650 mode) and Snowwolf 200w, and now a married trio for my RX200 (and another back-up trio for the DNA200 version if I get one). I use the VTC's in mech mods, and 25r's on my regulated mods generally.
They are all much of a muchness when it comes to battery life from my experience. So I am happy with the way I have separated them out.

Yes, I immediately updated mine, and it is charging. But it's the whole controversy regarding charging through USB that is putting me off.
My batteries and RX just arrived this morning anyway. The batteries (25r's) are in the D4 just now, so they will get their first charge with that. I'll run them down, and see how even they were discharged with the D4 too. Then I'll pop them back in and recharge with the RX, then test them again with the D4 to see how evenly the recharged.
I don't want to "marry" a trio of 25r's (polygamy much?) only for them not to charge and discharge differently.
But I travel a lot for work, and would have liked a mod with epic battery life, and ability to charge over USB (so I don't have to take a charger). So far my istick 50w has been doing the duties, but it has started having a few issues recently (to be fair, it has had a caning over the last 10 months). That being said, I'm not convinced the RX will fit in the phone lockers in Norway, so might be a non starter, and have to look for something smaller anyway.

This is unfortunate. I bought mine because it was 200w and has usb charging (like the snowwolf, but with USB charging). That is what annoyed me about the SW, having to charge the batteries separately.
Oh well.

Loving the updates. It must be almost 6 years since I was last in China, and your stories are bringing back the memories. Particularly the foreigners tax. Oh how I miss my trips to China.
Well played on spotting a local vaper. As you say, smoking is so cheap over there, it is barely worth bothering about vaping to try to quit.

Just re-hashing what everyone else has said, in the UK, Torchy via UK Vapers for sure.
But I generally buy mine from FT and wait. Authentic 25r's and never had a single issue with them. Waiting on 6 coming through just now.

Where can you save the money? And what was wrong with the RX? This thread, page 2-3 with e packet was a little over £75 is where I got mine. The RX was alright for a while then kept telling me atomiser too low every few puffs regardless of wire type/tank, all well within range. Cleaned 510, took batteries our, gave it last warning, didn't listen so bin it went. OK. Been onto Robby about this. No stock unfortunately.

A DNA 200 thing (Lavabox or something) and a couple sub-ohm tanks (like the Crius or something). Then spend the rest on an Xbox One. And a bottle of Vodka / crate of beer. Job done.

I need to try some new flavours. Is there a discount code for them? I'm guessing they are on PiratesVape?
