Buying batteries from China ALWAYS takes ages. It's only the 7th now, and they were dispatched on the 18th? Over the holidays? I wouldn't be expecting them until the end of the month personally.
I ordered batteries from FT on Christmas eve, and I wont be beginning to worry about them until at least February.

Not tried a Cirius myself but I'm sure you'll notice the difference as these new generation tanks all outdo the subtank IMO. I find the draw on the subtank way too tight now which is weird as I was happy with it for so long! So the Crius arrived about 30 mins ago. Put a build in it, and now vaping away... It's certainly nice, for sure. I quite like it already. Some nice little features, liking the top filling for example. And easy to build on. However, the actual vaping experience is hardly a game changer. It's nice for sure. But not a million miles better than any other tank I've used recently.

xs2man have you tried a Bellus or Aromamizer? These are a huge upgrade from the subtank. I thought I was more than satisfied with mine until I tried these! I have not, no. I have been pretty happy so far with the subtanks to be honest, and haven't felt the need to try something else. That having been said, I just received a couple emails this morning, and looks like I had ordered a OBS CRIUS V3 over the holiday period (and not realised, must lay off the vodka). So that will be the first new tank in over 6 months for me. I also ordered a Twisted Messes RDA with a Cloupor Mini 30w I ordered for my Mother (from Gearbest). I also ordered some new coils for my subtank mini's. Anyway, that should keep me going for a while. If I do feel the need to try another tank, I'll look at whats hot when I am looking. In the meantime, I am pretty happy now. Somewhere I didn't think I'd be 18 months ago when I was buying up everything I could. (Although I was buying a heap of kayfuns then. And actually, I just bought a Kayfun V4 off here too now I remember).

I consider my path to "mostly" be upgrades too.
I did spend a while buying the "latest" shiny thing though.
I started with one of the old pen style things, with a CE4. That lasted about 8 hours before ordering up a Vamo and Protank combo. That satisfied me for a while, then bought a SID (which I still have, and the Vamo, plus another Vamo for doomsday purposes that is unused). I then moved onto an MVP, MVP V2 before the first "big" splash on a DNA 20, which soon became a DNA 30.
I then spent a while building a collection of Mechs and RDA's and RTA's (like my collection of Kayfuns). Before coming back to regulated vaping.
Now I swap between two devices mostly. An iStick 50w, which is still going strong, having been used daily since release, and my DNA 40 vaporflask clone, again, used almost daily since release. And my Snowwolf 200w gets a very occasional look in. And that was my last mod purchased. And, in fact, I haven't bought a single tank either since getting my 2 subtank mini's. They just work for me, and that is generally enough.
That being said, I recently splashed out on an RX200w, and whatever that genuine DNA 40 was for £40 the other day (my plan is to swap the board into my nucleic DNA30 if I don't like the mod, since it was basically cheaper than the board itself). I may well get a DNA 200w too, just to see what the crack is.
But I don't foresee purchasing any more gear next year, unless something breaks, or there is a complete game changer comes on the market. Until then, my inner geek will be satisfied.
In all fairness though, I do have some relatively nice gear here. And I don't think I have sold a single thing since I started. Came close once or twice, but don't think I have (happy to be proven wrong though).

Well, it doesn't really bother me so much I guess because I have never had the desire to kill my nicotine addiction. When I started vaping, it wasn't to try to quit cigarettes, although it was an instant transition for me. Which is surprising considering the almost 20 years at 20+ a day. But it was my inner geek coming out, and ecigs satisfied a part of that in me, as well as my addiction to nicotine. In all fairness, I did start out at 36mg, but quickly came down to 24, then 18, 12 and now 5-6mg.
When I go offshore I am straight back to 20+ per day, without issue. But I'll be vaping away in the airport right up until my flight is called, then ditch the ecig in the mobile phone lockers (we also aren't allowed these). And then as soon as I'm back on the beach, straight back to my vaping. Never feel the need for the stinkies again. I do miss the vaping while offshore though. But my job out there is fairly relaxed, and I have a LOT of time to kill. If I didn't "go for a smoke" so regularly, I don't know how I would fill my day.
As far as claptons go, well the only ones I have tried I have built myself. So that probably has a lot to do with it. I suspect the DNA200 would be epic for them since you can pre-heat the coil initially, then tailor it back for the proper vaping. That's what I'm hoping for anyway. I see some of the epic builds people do, and want in. All in. But my experiences thus far have been disappointing. I blame myself, of course. But I'll try one again when I get my DNA200 (when I decide on which one to get).

Nice. I've never gotten on with a Clapton. Always been taking too long to ramp up. I guess the SW would fix that to some extent by firing 150w or so over it, lol. But yeah, I fully agree, a nice build in a good dripper can't be beat. I've just been too lazy recently, that's my bad. Maybe in the new year I'll clean a couple out and get on it again (I'm off on Hogmany to work offshore where I'm not going to be able to vape, so back on the stinkies ).

So, I went off my SW 200w for a while.
There were a couple reasons. I had a Kangxin Vaporflask DNA40 clone thing, and it easily outperformed the SW when using the Ni200 coils with my subtank mini. In fact, TC mode on that thing, regardless of atty just ran rings around it.
That, and the lack of USB charging put me right off it to be honest. I'm simply too lazy to take my batteries out the device to charge them. The problem with this is that the SW200w constantly takes some charge off the battery too. It's always flashing at me. And if I leave batteries in it, they discharge all the way down to something like 0.9v. Scary.
I did make a poor attempt at trying to sell it a while back. But I was probably asking too much to be fair (around £60 quid or so). So just left it.
Anyway, being chrimbo, I thought I'd break out a dripper with a nice low ohm build in it, and crank the SW up again, just to see what like.
Well, I found I was too lazy to build a coil, so just banged a 0.5 ohm coil in a spare Subtank Mini instead, screwed it on, and fired it up.
I forgot how good it was with regular vaping. Obviously a lot of it is to do with the tank and coil. And the juice being around 75% VG, with 20% conc Red Astaire (which I have also laid off of for a few weeks now).
Not even pushing the coil "too" hard at 36 watts (but the SW reads it at 0.63 Ohms so still firing a touch over 5v to it, so says the SW). But the vapour production is epic. The taste is epic. I've just fallen back in love with this thing. If I can get motivated enough to charge the batteries, lol.

Being a bit of a geek for HiFi stuff, I'm looking for sound system specs here, lol. And Merry Christmas Well not top dollar, but cost enough, a TEAC TN300 turntable in Burnt cherry or whatever they call it, a Yamaha CDS300 cd player, a yamaha RN500 Receiver Brilliant bit of kit, and wired to a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2 speakers, my house isn't big enough to turn it up very far lol, All in all a vast improvement over what we had before, TV has hardly been on been playing records CD"s and streaming from Spotify so much. Plus spent a reasonable amount on media lately, ELO's latest is waiting to go back as was a bit bent (LP) so Bought SGT Pepper yesterday LP along with 6cds, 3 for a tenner + 10% off off everything, we particularly liked BB King and Friends last night, was chill city Ha ha. No worries. I'm not really a "fan" of top dollar stuff either. Nice system there though. I don't have a standalone cd player personally, but then I don't really play cd's, rather rip them to FLAC or V0 and stream over the network to either my amp (Onkyo 609's) or PS4 / Xbox One. But the Amps (I have 2, one in the main lounge and one in the cinema) driving a pair of Bower & Wilkins 685's up front, with a pair of 686's doing rear duties. I also have an HTM 61 in one room and HTM62 in another for center channel duties. And relatively cheap subs in each room, one by B&W and one by Wharfedale. That RN500 looks like a good bit of kit though. I like it's feature set. I should get on of them for my office.

Thanks for the heads up on the Hana. I was looking to buy a DNA 40 board for my old Nucleic, as the 30 board is a bit old hat now. But this mod is cheaper than getting the board alone from cloud 9 (or whatever they are called now).
