lol. it just means they are the version 2 and someone in there wisdom at the factory decided its a good idea to leave the wicks long so people can cut then down to there own liking if they want to. imo
as for the tanks i have always kept to clear because you can see the juice, but it takes 0.3 seconds to screw the top off and look, ( in the flick of a fag ash )

Confused the Ego twist states it is 1000mah but then the description reads:
