Hello everyone, i am a new here. Would like to make sure that is it ok for me to use the cited equipments together? Will this setup destroy my battery in a long term? Suggestions from real experienced users would be very appreciated. Thanks

Hello & welcome tkvape Syycoe is right, you shouldn't use an LR on anything under 450 mAh.

Thanks for warm welcome. To Annie, The reason that i ask because i realize that in theory low mah battery is not suppose to use with low LR. However, as a new vaper, i would like to use small device because i still feel shy when vape in public. I have used this setup for a week and it works great. But ..i still feel not safe and not sure that it will finally end up by exposing or reducing battery life span. P.s. I have vaped for almost a month. I love it. Never believe that quit smoking is easy like this. Happy vaping guys!

Hi tkvape welcome to the forum, Don't worry about the battery life span, Every time you recharge your battery its one step closer to Its death, Besides there Is enough to worry about already on this planet.

Hello & #welcome2# Well I'll go against the grain and say YES, you can use a LR carto on a 180 mAh battery, as long as it's the manual type, the downside is that it will run your battery down very quickly and probably your battery will age very fast. If you can put up with that all's well and good. I would say that with a good 2.4 ohm carto on a 180 mAh battery you should get a good vape, just look at the SD keyring. Many people start like you afraid of wielding anything bigger than a cig-a-like but soon get fed up of the poor battery life then make the switch to a Riva or Ego, I used to feel that way too. I got over it pretty quickly though, I get loads of people asking about my chrome lavatube mini when I'm in the pub and people are much more likely to ask you questions when you have something a bit bling, it gives me the opportunity to get more converts on board.

Hi TK and #welcome2# from me too For longer battery life with low resistance you would be better with a Riva/Ego of 650 mAh + They really aren't that much bigger than a cig a like and depending on what you put on top can look really smart

Hi tkvape and welcome,I used and still have 1 of 3 280mah batteries I owned and never had a problem with anything I stuck on them, though never tried anything LR,I still keep the one left (others given to a friend) for slipping in the top pocket at work but lately have just done this with my ego,its not much bigger anyway,an ego with a cart on isn't that big and is going to last all day.

It's all about economics really.
If you don't mind replacing your batteries more often, then LR will work on the 280mah batteries no problem.
I actually use the Innokin Carto's on a mini 510 battery occasionally and they are pretty LR at 2.2ohms.
They work well, but the battery needs a charge every couple of hours and if I were using it all the time, I'd expect to replace the battery every few weeks.
