I don't want one because iv got solar panels and when no one is in the house my meatier runs backwards keeping my bill down but with the smart meter it don't go backwards so I won't be saving money. Ssssshhhh  |

Guys, what did you think of our temporary venue?
I know it was a bit shabbier than our usual haunt but I liked it. It was nice to be able to spread out around the table and still be able to hear everyone, blow as many clouds as we liked without annoying anyone and the food was fab and such good value!
Anyone fancy switching?

Its not a bad idea, I now only use card payment petrol stations as I get in such a flap over filling up, locking car, and petrol cap then paying in shop as I kept dropping my keys/purse/ bank card and started fretting that staff might misread my clumsiness for drunkenness! So I find it a damn sight less stressful paying at pump. Me too! My hubby used to fill up both cars so it was a shock to the system to have to buy petrol myself plus figuring out where it went etc. Don't ask me about the tizz I got myself into trying to open the bonnet the other day and fill up the windscreen wiper thingy  |

Lord that takes me back to growing stuff in my friends garden, picking it and grilling it, parents thought it was just a nice green plant................  I had a plant on my windowsill years ago when my mum came to visit. mum - 'what kind of plant is that?' me - 'its a pot plant' mum - 'I can see it's a pot plant but what kind of pot plant is it?' me - 'I have no idea'  |
