Hi. Haven't been enjoying vaping too much last few days. Have really bad headache and eyes are dry. Could this be caused by vaping. I'm on 18mg. No desire to go back to the fags but am disappointed as was really enjoying my new riva

Sounds more like hayfever - the pollen count is very high this year

If you haven't vaped much and still have it then it's probably not the vaping. Actually thinking about it Ive always suffered from headaches and you just made me realise I have'nt been so bad lately.

You're making sure you're drinking enough liquid alongside your vaping, aren't you?

Peekay is right, make sure you are upping your liquid intake as vaping can cause dehydration & that in turn can cause headaches.

I suffered from headaches and dry eyes for a wee while when I first started vaping... took the advice given on here and upped my fluid intake.....sorted

MORE BEER is prolly not the right phrase to use here, dehydration an all! I do have Diabetes Insipidus, the original one, that means I have body fluid retention problems. The advice to drink more water is a good one. I've started to have a glass of water in the coffee houses if I'm vaping with my coffee and it really does make a noticable improvement.

Hayfever remedies (you can buy good ones from boots. Try the nasal spray . My first thought was hayfever. And vaping does dehydrate you.... I had it the other month. Tried antihistamines that made me worse!!!. Got the nasal spray etc from boots (and the eye drops)...Sorted

Thanks everyone Think I was pretty dehydrated so I've increased my water intake and headache has gone. Still have dry eyes though but got some drops. Gordy - where is that lovely weather you talk of? It hasn't found its way to Scotland

Am sure it will pass soon as your body adjusts, I had all the same symptoms at first too. As a smoker I always had a drink with a cig and I still have to remind myself I need as much liquid if not more when vaping

Keep hydrated when on the ecigs. I find I drink about 2x the amount of fluids now I am back on the vaping. and that can double now I am back at the gym training.

those sounds like withdrawal from ciggies, if you recently switched over from ciggies, then I would expect headaches, in and around the eyes, potentially coughing but that's slightly later as your lungs clear out, also cold like symptoms, I have also found that you gums will bleed as more blood is able to get to your gums... my teeth have really improved and my gums have stop receding it's bloody scary in all honesty..
also as others have said make sure you drink plenty fluids as vaping does dehydrate you, all in all best of luck and keep it up ;-)

thanks ciar. Headaches have stopped I haven't been coughing but have to say I'm quite looking forward to getting rid of the gunge in my lungs! Plan to drink plenty of fluids this weekend in the form of sauvignon blanc # #
