Wick and wire for a DID.

Hi guy's, eagerly anticipating the despatch and delivery of my DID re-buildable atty...hopefully it may be sometime this week.

I know that they send out some wire and mesh with the DID for your first wicks and coils...but, I just know that I'll probably need more to get me going...lol.
So I've been having a little browse..."shhh"...don't tell the Mrs...for mesh and wire.

For the wire...what's the best....Kanthal or Ni-Chrome and what's the difference between the two ?

For the mesh, some guy's say 325 some guy's say 400.
I believe that the 400 mesh wicks a bit better...so can anyone currently using Genesis style atty's chime in and give me the benefit of their experience with wire and mesh.

Your welcome I haven't made a mesh wick yet, Lunerdog kindly made me one up, I just dry burn it every so often and put a new coil on it
