. Things are going to change, thats for sure, but how they will change is still unknown. This article in the Financial Times, entitled "Big Tobacco bets on e-cigarette future" confirms the moves that tobacco companies are making into the e-cig business, and the desire of the MHRA to regulate. www.ft.com/cms/s/0/cb76997e-e0a5-11e1-b465-00144feab49a.html#axzz23QSg9A2ror CLICK HERE FOR ARTICLEDavid O'Reilly, BAT's scientific director says : “The vision is for another product which can compete with enjoyment of smoking cigarettes, and e-cigarettes are closest thing on market that meets those needs.”another interesting part of the article is this That has not stopped companies such as FTSE 100 company Imperial Tobacco taking an undisclosed stake in an e-cigarette companyThis confirms the rumours that have been around for a while now that Imperial have bought into a major European e-cig company, but they are not saying which one - can anyone shed any light on this ? One thing is for sure, the e-cig market is going to change, of that there is no doubt.

that's typical, they know that the ecig for all intents and purposes is far safer than a coventional death stick, so now they are going to jump onto the bandwagon to try and keep their consumer base, by developing a safer version of the ciggie, makes you laugh why didn't they try that years ago ;-)
also funny how they say they don't taste nice, we all know that's a pile of crap my set up tastes lovely with pixie juice or ry7 lol

Thats very interesting, one positive thing about such big tobacco companies taking an interest, is that their money may help develop better and better e cigs?
A downside is that it is more likely that e liquid etc may face being taxed, like cigarettes are.

I think people who enjoy vaping rather than smoking will move to DIY, I'm actually looking Into DIY myself so to protect myself from future bans/rip off

yup, there are many reasons people vote for E-cigs rather than traditional cigs. right now there are around 8 million people in US who prefer to smoke E-cigs over traditional cigs. the popularity and likeliness of E-cigs is growing ever and there is an exponential growth in E-cigs smoker over the years.
I think there can be just one way tobacco companies enter into this industry by supplying tobacco flavor e-cig liquid to vendors.
