I'm new to this whole e-cig thing. I've been smoking 50 fags a day for well over ten years now and have had enough. A friend recommended me the mother of all e-cigs last week and I've been using it for a few days. I'm using it most of the time and gradually cutting down my fag consumption.

There's a few things I wanna know and I can't seem to find online. I'm sure I'll be asking various questions over the next few weeks. But one thing I wanna know is - is there a way that I can clean the cartos so that I can get rid of a flavour that I don't like and start with a new one? Someone mentioned boiling them or something. If so, how long do I boil them for etc?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Stampy #welcome2# what type of E-cig do you have? Most people don't use cartos for trying different flavours, as they're very difficult to clean properly and so cheap most people throw them away when they're finished.
An atomiser is what most people use for testing flavours, you can just put a few drops on it and try it and then when you want to try another juice you can clean it very easily by blowing on it and then adding a few drops of the next juice.

Yes you can either just rinse the carto under a hot tap or boil them for a few minutes. You then need to blow through them to get as much water out as possible & then leave them to dry. However, you might find it best to have separate cartos for different flavours.

I never bother washing mine, as I also used to be a 50 + a day smoker, so my cartos don't last more than a few days before they start to wimp out & I chuck them.

Some of the flavours you find hideous at the moment, you might end up loving as your taste buds change, so hang onto them for a while. Or you could try swapping or selling them in our classifieds board
