vision ego clearomiser slightly confused...

Hello, firstly I have to say I love these clearos so easy to fill give great taste and plumes of vapour (especially compared to my old 801 carts) however on mine The top fill line says 1.6ml yet when I fill it up using my syringe if I put it up to the 1 mark I can't fit it all in. am I doing something wrong?

MY other question is I'm on My 4th full one of the day am I vaping too much? Does anyone else get through this much a day?

Ratfinkz, try filling the clearo to just under the wicks, the markings must be a bit out on it.

How much people vape is a popular topic, you`ll probably vape more to start with and it`ll depend on what you are doing, what juice you are using and what equipment you`re using. I generally use around 5mls a day.

Also is your juice high enough

I tend to vape 18mg now but had to play about with it

If you are a chain vaper you will use lots I think

I tend to put mine down and use it more like a nasty. Pick up vape put down for an hour or so

I'm pretty much vaping how I used to smoke. I went a bit mad this morning trying new flavours and the mini nova out and started getting a bit of an ache in the back of my head. I then didn't touch it for almost 3 hours.

No idea how many mls I'm doing in a day, but probably around 2 cartomizers worth......whatever that may be.

You'll have no doubt noticed that the marking starts at 0.4 ml and the rest of the markings is under the base.

I have found that the short wicks hold about 1.2-1.3 ml from dry. If you got long wicks, it'll probably be even less..

Also if you have rebuildables with long wicks you can cut them shorter if you wish, as even when you think it's empty the long wicks are still holding quite a bit of it.

ahhh no stupidly I hadnt noticed iit didnt start from 0!!! :-[ I do however have 4 of them and they're all the same so cant think it could be printed off! Am not complaining I was just curious!!!

I must add when I'm not high on morphine i dont chainvape so much I use it more like a normal fag then! Still get through quite a lot a day though!

The other question I have is while the vision ego (which is not the rebuildable version) is what I'd imagined a clearomiser to be I also have 5 cartomiser shaped things which are also clear and without wadding - are they just a different version of a clearomiser or are they something else?#

oh and yes my juice is high enough I think - I certainly no longer crave the nasties - and I think I vape more for the flavour and comfort of it than an addiction to the nicotine (though I know Im addicted to that as well) oh well Beautycat is sending me some sample juices and some of them are 0% nicotine, am quite interested to see if when I vape those I crave nicotine as I'd quite like to get onto a 0% vape!

Yes.

Without wadding=Clearomiser.

Come in two types. Top coil and bottom coil with and without ceramic.

With wadding=cartomiser. No ceramic, just a heat resistant wicking tube and coil over tiny wicks surrounded by a layer of thick polyfill gauze cloth which is then surrounded by a layer of loose polyfill wadding.

Same fundamental principle, just like cars I guess..All come with their own set of plus and minus points as with most things.

Fair enough! I knew what both were just confused me that they were soooooooooooo different! OK next question - I LOVE my Ego's they're the main thing I use atm but I've noticed they're discontinued - what else is similar / better?

If you mean the ego clearo's they are still around to buy.The latest evolution is the V3 rebuildable..Cheaper to run in the long run.

Just change coil heads and off you go when the clearo starts to fade. If the tank cracks you can also buy bodies. If you are so inclined you can recoil and re-wick the heads too, making them even more economical.

Another alternative is the mini-nova.

keep on considering a rebuildable one but terrified I wont be able to do it!!!!!

It's not a true rebuildable..

You can rebuild the head, but if don't want to you can just buy new heads and screw them on..No different to screwing your drip tip on or off..
